the concert sucked.
but it was because of the venue. i know this because i went there for mcr in '05 and it sucked, too.
why it sucked:
1. i had to go with my friend and her friends, two grade 8 girls who were super scene and super emo, and i didn't like either of them.
2. we got there at like, 5:30, and there was a huuuuge line. luckily we knew people in the front, though. so we cut in.
3. me and my friend were stuck in the merch line for like, 15 minutes.
4. i got a hush sound shirt that was medium but it fit me like an XXL.
5. when we sat down, we sat in like... the middle of the floor?
6. when we stood up because phantom planet was coming on, we all got pushed toward the front.
7. there was this drunk guy talking to us about drinking and how gatorade lets your body absorb water or something. it was weird.
8. during phantom planet, it was so hard to breathe. i felt like my ribs were being crushed.
9. everyone on my side fell over. like, at least thirty people fell down. except me, so i guess that was lucky.
10. after phantom planet, i left the pit and got a coke for friggin 2.75$.
11. i spent the rest of the concert in the front right corner of the pit, in front of six huuuge speakers. everytime they would hit the bass drum, i could feel every part of me shaking. it was freaky.
12. i was about two metres from the corner. by the time panic came on, i had somehow moved to the exact corner. :/ i don't even know how.
13. i couldn't see spencer the ENTIRE TIME. i was so f*cking pissed.
14. the sound quality was complete crap. just terrible.
15. it cost me 35$. :/
basically, it was just awful, but obviously only because of my position and the venue. i'm sure if it/i were elsewhere, it would've been amazing.
yeah, aw, you remembered. (:
it's on fridayyyy.
i still need to wash my clothes though omg. D:
i need clean clothes for the concert.
and i need to straighten ma hair.
OH. I DYED MY HAIR ORANGE.
well, not all of it. but like, the bottom half that used to be blonde.
i used orange manic panic. it's so hardcore.
something came up with that house too D:
dang. I was actually getting excited. I love moving houses
you're so lucky, living close to the school
I have to take the bus, and usually they hand out passes, but they said our house was too close to the school. Which is stupid, because our house is exactly 2.73 kilometres from the school and to qualify for a bus pass you have to be exactly 3 kilometres
we have that too. We call them technical schools :S
theyre trying to sign over a couple of boys from the area to work on the new houses that are being built around here.
Speaking of houses, I'm moving houses next week xD
funfunfun.
it's normal for the grade I'm in, I guess xD
it is, after all, the last year of junior highschool
and most kids around here work their asses off because they leave early to become builders/plumbers/hairdressers just like the rest of the people around here
dang, it's cold in summer?
I blame global warming xD
schoolwork, ick >.<
things are sorta the same here. It's only halfway through the year and I get one assignment after the other.
Right now I have three due, but the other week I knocked back three.
So I had six. That's not counting the tests either.
