Hello, my name is Jaclyn Janae Boone and I've been diagnosed with insomnia and depression. I spent the first five of my young years in a little town called Crownpoint, New Mexico. From the ages of six to fifteen I lived in another town about two hours away from Crownpoint called Window Rock, Arizona. For as long as I can remember I've been to Utah almost every weekend. Honestly, I love Salt Lake and Porvo, but I've never imagined myself living there. Everything I know is in Arizona; my friends, my whole life. To just be forced to get up and leave it all is something I wisih I could change, but unfortunetly I can't.
I love writing, it helps leak the imagination out of my head without having to go and spray paint a building for example. My stories, my poems, and my random thoughts that I write down on paper are all I want to do. I've always imagined myself becoming some famous guitarist; it wasn't until recently that I've realised that is not the life I want for myself. I realised that writing means so much more to me; my passion.
Besides writing, music helps me from going utterly insane. It speaks to me the way no one else can. I listen to music my parents don't agree with, not becaues I want to rebel against their mormon ways, but because it's what I like. When I put my headphones on, I love the beat, I love how it can take me from reality, even if it's just for a moment. It's the air that I breath.
