Solitary Style.

I've never really been into the music scene; I usually just obsess over a few musical artists. So I'd never even heard of My Chemical Romance until February of 2007, when my brother said I might like this song called "Welcome to the Black Parade." I'm so glad that he did.

MCR didn't save my life, but they have changed me for the better. They have given me courage and inspiration, and the belief that I am strong and capable. They have helped me to overcome the crippling self-doubt I've had as long as I can remember, and I am very grateful for that. Someday I hope to meet them and thank them in person.

I used to be an artist--not so much anymore. I don't know exactly why. But I still write, having published a short novel. And I write poetry--very sparsely, but they're all carefully worded. Poems take me weeks to write, because rhyme and rhythm is very important to me.
