*How My Chemical Romace Litteraly Saved My Life --

One morning, I woke up to my mom crying. My father had left for New York City. My mom found out from a suicide note in his sock drawer saying that he took the gun that we kept in the closet and was going to get himself either killed or arrested. I was furious! We were a family of six and left an out-of-work mother and her son and three daughters with nothing. I had figured that he must have totally forgotten about us as usual. I became depressed and began cutting myself. The pain felt good. If I was scum then I deserved the pain. That's what I thought. When we found out that my youngest sister had cancer and that she was going to die since we could not afford the medical help my younger sister Kelsey avoided pain and depression by avoiding it all together. I, myself, faced it head on. Eventually, I had figured that the only way out of my pain was to end the greatest conflict of all: life. I had a handgun under my mattress and a few bottles of Aspirin and other medication in my sock drawer. I had thrown up until I almost passed out and opened my sock drawer. My mother yelled for me to come downstairs. I shoved a Poptart in my mouth and ran into the kitchen. My mom handed me a small package.

"It's...from your father." I shredded it open to see the vision of demolition lovers and the words Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge along with a note that said "It seemed like the kind of music you liked..." That's when I found out that he had been arrested. For what I still do not know, but if I hadn't have gotten that simple album and known that my father did infact remember us, I would have been lying dead on my bedroom floor.
