About
So, what is there to say about me? Well I'm my last year of school at Wayland Union High School, and I've decided to take the next year off before college to work a little and get away from teachers and anything that resembles homework. When I finally decide on a college, I'd like to go for Pastry Arts. Other than that, I don't really do much. I hang out with my friends and break the law as often as possible. I'm currently obsessed with Tegan & Sara, I don't know what it is about them, but I just can't get enough. Maybe it's because they're so relateable, or because I think they're beautiful, I couldn't tell you.
Speaking of music, it basically rules my life. I've been in band since the 6th grade. I started out on the clarinet and switched to bass clarinet in the 8th grade when I moved from Texas to Michigan. Even though I never practice somehow I've gotten pretty good. I go to a lot of the area honors bands and this year I'm in my school's first ever full orchestra. It's actually a lot more fun than it sounds. A room full of super-serious strings kids, 15 of the most immature band kids and the dumbest music teacher in existance in one room, it's pretty much amazing.
Most of the music I'm interested in is in the Rock/Alternative Rock genre. Unless it's from a musical, but that's a totally different story. Occasionally I have a weird urge to listen to ABBA, Cher, or even Michael Jackson (before he slept with little boys).
I never seem to find the right words I want to use to express myself, so if I find a song that does it for me I listen to it constantly and use it in every way possible. Facebook and MySpace status updates mostly, but sometimes, if given the chance, I use them in conversations.
Weird Facts:
* My favorite smells are clean clothes and rain.
* I can never make up my mind on anything, ever.
* The "Let It Be" scene from Across The Universe will always make me cry like a baby.
* My room is always a mess, and I like it that way.
* Red Robin makes the best veggie burgers ever.
* My favorite colors are teal, silver and purple.
* I think gold is the tackiest color ever.
* "The Brady Bunch" was my favorite show when I was growing up.
