About
Sooo... what can I say... I love music, have always loved music, ever since I can remember there has been music playing in my life. I think my biggest influence has been my mom, she always had music playing in our house (as I do now!) she would even wake us in the morning with a song she made up! My kids will ask if something is wrong if the house is quiet or the radio is off in the truck!
I Love (Of Course!) My Chemical Romance, The Beatles, Queen, Scorpions, The Ramones, Alice Cooper, Meatloaf, Billy Talent, Bon Jovi, Green Day, Bob Segar, CCR, Nickleback, AC/DC, Ozzy, Metallica, Papa Roach, Linkin Park,Shakira, Rhianna, Buddy Holly, Beach Boys, Jan & Dean, Classic Rock, 40's,50's,60's,70's(not much into Disco!), 80's, pretty well everything, not so much the country & western, though. (I even like listening to The Bratz! Thanks to my 8yr. old daughter! They have a great impact with what thier singing about!)
My husband and I took our oldest son(turning 16 in Jan.) to his first concert, Metallica and Godsmack, when he was 13, he Loved it!! That was all he talked about for weeks after!
Because I enjoy listening to my kids and learning about thier interests, I know alot about Pokemon, Yu-gi-oh and am learning about Magic cards and W.O.W, now! I know alot about Raven, Hannah Montana, The Bratz, Transformers, Fantastic Four, Rescue Heros, Webkinz and lots of other stuff my kids are interested in!
I think alot of parents today have forgotten what it's like to be a teenager. They don't relize how much easier it was for us to grow up in the 70's and 80's. We didn't have nearly as much worries, there are more people out there who have prblems and are sick. Drugs and guns are easier to get your hands on and thanks to the internet (not that everything is bad about it) it's alot easier for kids to learn about things like bombs. I never had to worry about being shot in school, just picked on and teased and beat up. I think the only way I would re-live my teen years is if I could take the knowledge I have today with me!
Enough sad stuff said!!

Well hello =]
I'm from a very small town in Ontario.
And I see that you are from Alberta. Is is nice there?
desert skies., December 9th, 2007 at 04:29:43pm
when [and if] you do the Ont. tourist thing you have to come to Ottawa. Everyone who tours here just stays down south near Toronto, even though Ott is the nations capital [woot]. I've only been through Alberta once in the summer before grade 7... but I get to go back this June! So i'll definatley be doing more of the tourist thing in Calgary then I did before [since I spent most of my time in Medicine Hat, which is slightly boring]
