My name is Ashley and I live in Somerville, MA. I'm 18 years old. I am really shy and totally anti-social. I can't help it 'cause I've always been like that. It's a curse I'm afraid. Although I am only 18 years old, I have a full time job at the Harvard Law School Library as a Library Assistant (I was a part-time worker for 3 years prior). Yeah, a library, which is really, really boring but since I dropped out of college after a semester I decided it would be a wise move...and the money doesn't hurt either. Eventually, I want to get into music production or anything to do with music. I am also taking drum lessons so we will see where that takes me.
I am in love with My Chemical Romance. I even have three tattoos dedicated to them. I don't want to sound cliche saying this but MCR really did save my life and continue to everyday. I first saw them open for Green Day in '05 and my first thought was "Wow that lead singer says fuck a lot..." LOL. I really liked I'm Not Okay so I bought 3 Cheers. I instantly fell in love with it. After that I bought Bullets and from then...it was history...and a growing obsession.
Their lyrics have helped me through some hard times. Whether it was a when I was suffering from some seriuos depression or my dad's on going battle with cancer...they have been there to help me through it. My dad now has The Black Parade cd playing in his car all the time and even has 'Welcome to the Black Parade' as his ring tone...he's just trying to be cool
I have seen the guys 5 times live and have met everyone twice except for Mikey. Everytime I see them live, I'm blown away. My heart pounds and I feel like I can take on the world. I don't know what I would do with these guys. They are my heroes.
