It seems our boys are missing the action of recording, because they're headed back to the studio this season to record another album. This is their fourth full-length release, and as of yet, of course, there is no official name.
The band will be enlisting the talent of Brendan O'Brien as a producer this time around. O'Brien has an lengthy and impressive rap sheet, having worked with Rage Against the Machine, Bob Dylan, Pearl Jam, The Offspring, Incubus, Bruce Springsteen, The Pink Spiders, AC/DC... So we think the album will be in good hands.
In addition to band practice, recording, family time and reading the fandom here on INO (just kidding about that one...we think), MCR are headlining the 10th annual Summer Sonic music festival in Osaka, Japan. They're lined up for August 7th, although the festival goes through the 9th. With them are bands like Paramore, The All-American rejects, Hollywood Undead, Lady Gaga, and tons more. i got info from Frank over MyChemicalRomance.com that as of four weeks ago MCR & Bob Bryar parted ways so Bob is no longer a member of MCR.

I'm totally excited. Gerard said in a recent interview that their new album is lke "a love letter to rock-and-roll." He said that it's not, oh, what was it, something like, not as Castle Dracula as their recent work, but he still knows it's going to be a hit. I love their older stuff, but I'm sure their new album will still be great!!!
