In the aftermath of the earthquake and tsunami that hit Japan in such a devastating way the band decided that they should to do something to help - and so began #singitforjapan.
Ray took to twitter and asked fans to put together submissions with messages of hope and support for the people of Japan - and as is always the way with MCR fans, they answered Ray's call for messages to Japan with great enthusiasm.
The guys have put together a whole site dedicated to the project #singitforjapan . On this site you will be able to watch the video that includes fans messages with the re-worked version of Sing. If you want to you can support the project through that site, there are links on the #singitforjapan site so you can buy the single through itunes, or the #singitforjapan t-shirt - all proceeds from purchases will go directly to the American Red Cross to help with the relief.

i like the original SING better but i love that MCR is making an effort to raise attention to japan
