Plus why are we not talking about the fathers?

I have.
To to the extent that I don't believe he should have any rights regarding abortion.

Though its a bit harsh to tell a guy that he has no say in the life of his own baby. It should be the mother's choice, but shutting out the father completely...
What if the father could give the baby a great life, but the mother just doesn't want to have the kid? I find that totally unfair because if the father wants to take care of and love his baby, why not let him? Yea, birth is no easy task, but without the father, the baby in question would not even exist.

I still say its mother's decision, but if the father is willing to take care of the baby full time, then the mother should at least talk to him.

yeah. why shouldnt the father have a say in it? its his DNA too. if the father is willing and wants to have the child why doesnt the mother just give birth and give it him? its not fair that men have not say in this conversation. its her choice but if the father has a problem with it they deserve to talk.
He has no right because they are not (always) his bills, and 100% not his pain, or his body.
He has no right because all he did was enjoy sex with this woman. The woman shouldn't be expected to suffer because a man wants to spread his seed. If the father wants a child so much, he can adopt one, or give uo his sperm for test tube babies. If I was forced to have a child and fight though all of that pain because the man I had sex with forced me to, I would be royally pissed. That sort of thinking is just brining us back to the stone age when women has no rights.

its his DNA, he should at least know what shes going to do with it. a man wouldnt force a woman to his kid because ITS AGAINST THE LAW.
a woman does have a right to do what she wants, but a man also has the right to know and have a opinion on whats going on.

XD he can talk to her, but he shouldn't have any legal say in the matter. A man should be able to try to sway the woman's opinion, but not dictate her choice.

I also believe that men don't have the moral right to be anti abortion. Women can, but men can't (because they have no idea what they are talking about, and never will)
That's not to say I believe a man should be put in jail for being anti abortion, but I feel that it's wrong of him to be anti abortion being male and not being able to even concievably level with the victim of the unplanned birth.

Because it's her body and she has the right to make decisions about it.

^^ She does have the right to make decisions about it, but if the father is serious about the baby he should at least be able to have a voice in the matter. I thinkl that the man should not be able to make the choice, because it is not him having the baby, but he should be able to discuss the matter with the mother. No man should be 100% shut out of something that is part his (not legally his, but physically the baby has his DNA).

Of course he can discuss it with her.
Freedom of speech.
But he shouldn't be able to make the decision.
If she's willing to carry the child to term and give it to him after then fine.
But if she's not then he has to learn to have sex with pro-lifers.

well yes i do aggree the father has a say in it but if he wants to keep it and you dont then i think that the mother should do waht she wants. If they agree then yes they should do whatever they wish but. The guy only has to enjoy sex and for woman..ok this is kinda of topic but does anyone else feel that the guy gets the better end of things?

Guys almost always get the better ends of things. No periods, no menopause, no giving birth, no breast feeding, no anything.

The mother should do what she wants, but I mean if the guy can give the baby a good life, and wants to, I think it would be an acceptable idea to give the father a chance. The mother doesn't and shouldn't have to, but it should always be considered.

Of course he shouldn't be able to make the decision, but the mother should be the least bit open minded, and consider it.

Now if a woman gets raped or its incest or a danger to the mother than its okay. Those of you who are prochoice, take a second and look at the percentage of abortions in the past year. Look at the percentage of the raped mothers or the incest victoms youll see that exactly 95% are because of "inconveince" Well you went out to a party, got drunk and fucked a stranger and got pregnant its not an "inconveience" its a LIFE! If your mature enough to have sex you should be mature enough to live up to your responsibilty!
ABORTION IS FUCKIN' MURDER!

And of that 95%, did you know that about half are married, and half of the second half are in committed relationships?

Do you really expect that people just have sex to make children?

Welcome to the real world. Sex means more to the human race then baby making, and mistakes to happen. It's not the mother's fault.

^ who really cares if there 'in a relationship' its still a baby, its still abortion, and to me its still wrong. why should some woman be able to get a abortion just because she married, its more of a reason to have the child.

no one has sex 'just to make children'. people have sex for pleasure, and again you're twisting the words around to make him/her seem like the bad guy!

and the whole point of human EXSITANCE is to make children. we are meant to pass on our DNA.

mistakes happen, but when you choose to have sex you are also choosing to except the fact that when having sex you can get pregnant. its like signing a contract, is you dont read the fine print, you're gonna get screwed.

you have a choice on what you do, but not all choices you make in life are right. it may be right to have a kid, if may not be and you should get a abortion, it depends on who it is.

welcome to the real world, where not EVERYONE gets a chance to fix their mistakes.

Again. Agreed.

Not everyone deserves a chance to fix their mistakes either.
