Fur coats and leather shoes

OHYEAH! I love fur and leather! If I could afford that stuff I would buy it. For now I'm happy to display my rabbit skin I got a long time ago. Fluffy and soft.. I loves it. My sister is jealous.

i think anything were you have to use animals as your pleasure is gross.... such as fur clothing or leather .......... i think leather was used befor fur clothing was popular ..... they needed something for their feet back then........ but still people should not use animals lik this .... they r living we would not was to wear a hairy person as a coat just because they are smarter

i really am against fur coats AND leather shoes. i think that in the year 2007 we have a much more humane way of making clothes. the very thought of real fur makes my skin crawl. when i do touch it, like in my drama class, i had to wear a fur coat, my hands just FEEL ew.

and i think that more ppl pay attention to fur coats then leather shoes because fur coats are so blatantly there.

People wear the skin. The rest is used either by humans or recyled back into nature.

The other parts of animals raised for fur are used too, just like in cows. We might not eat their meat, but other animals do. And even if no one eats the meat, their bodies decompose into nature. It's the circle of life.

I think its okay to wear leather because it is generally made from cow which we're eating anyway so may as well use that if we use the rest of the cow.

Fur is wrong because the use a ridiculously broad spectrum of animals which we dont use the rest of.

i'm a vegeterian almost vegan so i'm really biest on this subject. i think that we could use other things for clothing. like the stuff made from recycled coke bottles. also if you think about it its kinda depressing and gross. that animal or cow was once alive and it was killed so we could use its fur and have a fashion statement.

I don't like fur coats or leather shoes. If I want to wear a coat or jacket, I wear a hoodie. I wear converse on most days and when I have to dress up I wear flat shoes that are not leather. I am not a vegetarian though, neither am I vegan. But I do think it is wrong to wear stuff that kills animals that you can replace with something else.

I am a vegetarian and I think killing a animal for it fur is just plain wrong....

I dont think hunting should be a sport either

fur should only stay on animals.....they should not be a luxury item......

I think using something that was once and alive and had feelings just to make you look good is wrong and horrible. And i think its something that should be banned.

Just Like Fox Hunting should be banned. because of the cruelness for no good reason.

I am against the wearing of fur, personally. However, in contrast I like leather. certainly don't condone the killing of animals for their fur, especially endangered animals. But cows are animals, and that's where leather comes from. Where do we draw the line? That's a tough call.

If you like fur and animal skin, fine. Do whatever. But I personally don't like to wear either because I always imagine some animal showing off boots made from my skin and wearing a coat made out of my hair. No thank you.

People shouldn't wear animals, thats just messed up. I would never were real leather or fur. Thats just sick.

I cant stand people who wear fur coats!!!its disgusting to know that the animal was probably skinned alive and tourtered! Ive seen the viedos of what they do to them. i cry everytime i think about it.I BET IF THE PEOPLE WHO SAW A VIDEO OF WHAT THEY DO TO THE ANIMAL THEY WOULDNT GO NEAR ONE!!i swear everytime i see somebody wear a fur coat or looking at one to buy i could kill that person!!!!and exspecialy seeing how much the coats are $5000 for a mink coat!!i go crazy!!my boyfrined had to pull me out of a store one time because i was looking at how much the coats were and i got soo pissed!!i was crusing soo bad!the woman who was next to me who was looking to buy one walked away lol ooo btw i think its fucked up when people call them selves animal lovers but they wear fur coats and talk about how they love their dog or cat to death. Your violence is disturbing.I respect everyone's opinion, but you're a total hypocrite if you think killing a human is somehow justified for wearing the skin of a dead animal. Violence begets violence. If you feel that strongly, then what do you think of Gerard? He owns/wears many leather jackets, belts and boots.
