Tbh, I first discovered MSI because of the whole Gerard and Lyn-Z marriage news. That doesn't make me less of a fan, though. I've said it before, I don't just like MSI because of Lyn-Z, I love their music. If Gerard and Lyn-Z would unfortunatley divorce, I would still love and stand behind MSI because I love the band's music.
So if people say I'm less of a fan for only discovering them, like, almost a year ago, and not discovering them before the whole Gerard and Lyn-Z thing, then they are wrong.I think the way you discover a band doesn't matter at all. It just depends on why you love them, why you stand by them. And I love and stand by MSI because I love their music, and think the 4 of them are some of the most amazing people I've ever seen. I love them as people and as musicions. Jimmy never fails to make me smile, and his antics have made my darkest days brighter. Lyn-Z is such an inspiration to women, and I think some people who think badly about her would realize how amazingly brilliant and intelligent she is if they would just listen to what she has to say. Kitty and Steve are both so funny, and Steve was friendly when I passed by him at the concert.
I just love MSI, and will always love MSI, and nothing will ever change that. |

If it wasn't for that, I might still be wondering who the heck name's a band Mindless Self Indulgence, but yeah. Their music is definately something you don't hear everyday and you gotta look for. Lyn is so unbelievably cool, and when i saw them last month I couldn't stop laughing because Jimmy was so funny. And why even discuss their personal lives? Personal lives are meant to be private, well unless you post them in blogs. lol |

i found MSI like a month or so before Ger-Z
but yeah, nothing will ever change how i feel about MSI or how amazing all three times of seeing them live was..

Maybe I'm used to being obsessed rather than just plain 'like' but music's really important to me and I find that if you REALLY love the band, things like who they marry should be respected, and doesn't even have anything to do with what the band is about.
I discovered MSI because of Ger-Z. Shoot the Gerard teenie! xD
