What do your parents think about MCR?

This happend this morning:

Brother: (who just walked in) "So you actually like them?
Me: Yea
Him: I honestly dont get that. *looks at me*.......never mind yea i do.

My sister thinks theyre kinda strange look wise but when we were eating dinner the other night she was telling me about how our mom raved about MCR to her and she thinks theyre awesome.

My niece loves them alot. She's a big a fan of the song Helena. She's always bugging me saying "put on the dancing, funeral, gerard video" (she still doesnt remmeber the song title yet,so she calls it that lol)
Her on the members:

Mikey- "he's kinda creepy looking"
Gerard- "He's MINE!.........oh and totally bringing sexy back" (she seriously said that and shes 11ahaha)
Frank- She's in love with the guy. end of story. She went around school telling her friends she's officially dumped jesse mccartney for frank iero.
Ray- "Oh yea, the fro dude, he's cool." she calls ray Fro
Bob- "He looks mean but yet, he likes cats so i guess he's not to bad."

My nana saw a bit of Vampires, and was like, "Turn it off! It'll give me nightmares!"

my gramma likes their stuff XD

LMAO. My Dad said that a couple months ago except he called them nuts instead of testicles.
I tried SO hard not to laugh in his face because he was being serious.

My Dad thinks they are freaks and he hates them.

My Mom just tells me to turn it down whenever Dad's around. And one time in March we were shopping and she saw this Pararde styled jacket and threw it at me and said "Here's something you're chemical romance guy would wear"
And that was way before TBP came out, so know that I think about it, that was really weird 0.o
And whenever she see's a velvet jacket she'll throw it at me and start going on about how "that chemical guy would wear it, why don't YOU like it? He like's it."

My brother keep's making fun of Bob and calling him gay just to spite me. He also pretended to be Mikey for 18 minutes. It was really mind scarring at how awful he is at it.

My sister once said that they would be cute if they looked more "normal". And she thinks Ray is an actor.......which I don't get.

My second oldest brothers, girlfriend, was watching LOTMS with me.
She thinks;
Ray is, or is getting off drugs because he was so twitchy and scratchy. She is also in love with his fro.

Mikey is adorable and clever, and is in love with his older brother.

Gerard needed to wash his hair. She also asked me if he got a nose job because his nose is so perfect XD.

She never said much about Frank, and she think's Bob is too quiet and insde his mind is an evil genuis.

My mom thinks Gerard is good looking and doesn't look good with blonde hair, Mikey could be good looking, and Bob is a stalker. That's all I remember, but she said something about Ray and Frank too.

And she said I'm so obsessed with them that if they shit on a plate I would worship it and think it was the best shit ever.

My mum doesnt even know who they are. But if she ever commented on their music (which im sure she will soon!) she would say "What is this HORRIBLE music?!" She'd say it was awful. She hates anything remotely rock lol so she would proper HATE MCR! And if she saw pics of Frank she'd probably say he was "a dirty goth" or something!! lol :-/ poor Frank haha

My dad has heard of them but he hasnt commented on them either. Although he loves Green Day so i wouldnt really be surprised if he liked MCR. MCR are heavier though so i dont know....might ask him later lol

Well, my Mum dosn't really like them, but she'll listen to them. She does like Welcome to the Black Parade, though. We were listening to the radio when it came on and she said "Ohhh, who sings this?" and I told her it was MCR but she didn't really show any interest after that.

My Dad actually really likes them. He's coming to see them live with me and my best mate. (I'm not that happy about it, but he payed for me ticket, so I can't really so no....)

I was walking in town with my mom and we were listening the new album on mp3.she actually liked it and she heard the revenge album ages ago and she liked it also

So far in my life, my mom still doesn't get their name and my dad could care less.
We have this mutual thing where we don't bash eachother's music.
It works fine.

My mom asked me if Gerard was Gerard's real name

my dad think it is 'devil' music
my mom is okay with it and always talks about Gerard..
my sister doesnt consider it music
and my little sister is okay with it

my dad said that with his blonde hair he looks like a '60 year old man'
and my mom says the blonde hair looks funny..
my mom likes "I Dont Love You"
and; my chemical romance and gerard are like household names now because my parents always bug me about it o.o

My mom knows who they are, but doesn't especially like them. She in fact likes Pussycat Dolls. o.O Idk. She keeps calling them "Chemical Dudes." I keep correcting her, telling her, "now say it with me... My...Chemical...Romance. Good.

Dad: Doesn't really like them.
Mom: She said "I was STARTING to like Green Day, and now I hear these guys."
But yet, she still likes 2 songs off of The Black Parade.

Psh. *rolls eyes* Parents don't understand the beauty of their music.
