My mom has changed her views on most of my music. She actually likes MCR now - compared to how she use to think of them when I showed her Vampires. She likes them enough that she's taking me to see them on Friday ( yaay).
If she didn't I wouldn't be going >.>
also, I think she likes 'em since their from Jersey & Bob's from Chicago - her two favorite places. Lol. I make fun of her for that all the time.
Now my dad's a different story. He thinks all the music now sounds like it did back in the 70's and 80's. But he'll tollerate MCR...I think that's only because I see him twice a month.
Wow you're seeing them on Friday? HAVE FUN!! I hate all you guys- they're playing here in March and tickets were sold out  I was very depressed. |

The girl who was making the coffee said, "You do know Gerard's gay? He's dating that guy Simple Plan. They write songs about each-other all the time." So, my nana told me this when she got home, and after dinner, she got online, and went on a search to find out if Gerard is infact gay. It was funny, because she was on Wikipedia, and she was like, "Brandy?! Did you know he's of 'Scotish and Italian heritage?"
She told me this, and I was going around the house, saying, "Ohhhhh Lorddddd......." |

Ahhahh! my mom's view changed after Friday!
we were walking back to the car and she was like, "I liked a few songs, but not his language.He's a good stage performer, though, and cute."
I was laughing sooo hard and fell down to the sidewalk. People walking by us stared at me.
my mom's 50...it's kinda funny if you think about it.

And yeah, he likes 'em. He called them a mix between Metallica and Sex Pistols....which I would take as an compliment. And he said Gerard looked like Freddy Mercury in the way he was on stage o_O
