Regarding your licensing question, Savior, the answer is sometimes not. It depends on how much and what part of the song is being used. I studied this at one point in time - if I remember correctly, up to two bars is allowable without requesting permission. I think it sucks, personally, but no one out there in the business world cares what I think, right?

this is probably a really odd question but in the ginger bloke interview, were the guys actually there, i can't tell, cos in some parts they look like they are and some they look like they're not :S

What they do is before they actually interview them the cameras are rolling while they are preparing for it, like they'll be being briefed about it or it's just before the 'real' interview starts. Then they take that footage and make a sketch out of it, and then Ginger Bloke films his bits and they mash the 2 together to make it look like a real interview!
So to cut it short - no they're not actually with him!
