Yeah, waiting seems to be the smartest thing to do.... I'll just have to wait and see... I don't think it's stupid that you didn't know which one you wanted, they all look so good... ^.^ |

Age: 32 Gender: Female Posts: 2274 | December 2nd, 2009 at 09:38pm ^ I went to Barnes & Noble and got mine, and they had all of them, even Ray...maybe they were sold out of his at your B&N lol. I don't know.
When I got there though, I was like "Crap which one do I get?!" I got the Mikey one, 'cause ya gotta love Mikey. |

MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE
3.7 MILLION ALBUMS SOLD
Gerard Way wrote the first My Chemical Romance song after watching the Twin Towers fall. Twenty-two at the time, and working a dead-end post-art school job, 9/11 was the shock he needed to get his life going. And it has colored his music ever since. "Rock and roll is kind of a death fantasy, but you don't want to die, that's the trick," explains Way. "It's about immortality."
My Chemical Romance has often been criticized for glorifying death, but the band's new album explores less depressing territory. "I really enjoy a movement or band or music or art that is aware, and can poke fun at itself," says Way. Not that he is going to give up the all-black look. "For me, wearing black is just what I've always liked. I went to art school. That's what you do in art school -- wear black and listen to Joy Division."
Way knows he's making music for rebellious teenagers. He doesn't take it too seriously -- but does manage to find hefty emotion in seemingly laughable topics. "For example, on the new record I have this whole thing about black hair dye," he says. "There's something about being 15 or 16 and getting your first bottle. There is a ritual with it. It ends up on your neck, on your collar, in your nails. For most 16-year-olds, the biggest statement they can make is to dye their hair black."

Last.Night.On.Earth Bleeding on the Floor
Age: 31 Gender: Female Posts: 1564 | April 7th, 2010 at 12:49pm Small piece in Kerrang! today where someone was complaining about Gerard talking too much and he needs to say more on stage rather than trying to become a spokesperson for a generation. Personally I think this is a bit obselete; he's already a spokesperson for a generation. |
