I don't have the exact quote cause it's upstairs and I'm lazy, but he says something along the lines of My Chem's fanbase being totally open to everyone, irregardless.

I think you're right. I dont think we should give a shit about them being featured in J14, Sugar or even BB or Bop magazine. It's all a matter of publicity to the band. To put all those pictures and articles in, the editors of those magazines have to gain permissions from MCR representatives, the same way as editors of AP, or Kerrang, or NME have to do, so those "bullcraps" they put in their magazine is totally legal. So come on, lets just leave all this hatred towards little girls magazine aside, okay?

my chemical romance frontman gerard way has revealed to kerrang that the new jersey quintet are itching to begin work on their follow-up to 2006's the black parade
"it feels like its about the right time to be making a new record" says way. " maybe thats because the black parade was talked about for so long before it was released, but it feels like that albums been out for a long time now. Were already on the 4th single and weve played a lot of shows.
"the black parade was the kind of record that you make but don't necessarily have a burning desire to perform, because its creation was almost the point.
he adds " it was such an intense experience to make it, that htere was almost a feeling to move on as soon as we released it. It was so artistically ambitious that it made us want to keep on creating".
The band are spendingthe summer around the states on projekt revolution with linkin park. Wonder if theyll bump into chesters stalker. |
