I'm a Melbournian, I'm planning on a 6am lineup, though.
The thing with long lineups is, you have to make sure you get enough rest otherwise you wont be able to enjoy the concert - why camping out is a bad idea, Exhibit A. I've done a gazillion lineups, so I know my limits at least.
Summy:oooh. WHOSE GOING TO THE MELBOURNE CONCERT!
me and my friends plan to bring like a beach ball,and whilst in que we try and get everyone to sign it, and then we can pass it up and try to get it to the guys onstage!
ps- i have an idea for INO-ers, lets just write INO.net on our arms :p. in permanent marker!
And I hate to burst your bubble, or your proverbial beach ball, but how exactly do you plan on getting the beach ball inside the venue? They wont let it in inflated. You might be able to sneak it in deflated - I'm unsure about how strict Rod Laver are - but do you really plan on deflating it and then inflating it inside? And then if they see it they'll still take it from you. And then you have to think, if you managed to get past all that and actually get it on stage, if it interferes with the set in any way you're ruining it for everyone.
And remember, Mikey said beach balls are the work of the devil. =P
I'd suggest, if anything, find something more practical, something that's actually allowed into the venue, to get signed.

I wish I could get there earlier, like 6, but seeing as I live an hours drive from the city, and I'd probably get the train in anyway, theres no way I could get up that early and still enjoy the show.
I'm just gonna do what me and my friends usually do and lie down/play cards/get one to hold the place while the other walks off to maccas.

Awesome! That you will. Yeah, I'm an hour from the city, too, so hello 4am wakeup. >.< But last time I went at 8, cause I had BDO the day before and Trivium the night after. This time I can get to bed early the night before.
Last time the MCR lineup was one of the best I'd ever been in. Here's to this one being just as fun. |

HAHA BATMAN AVENUE.... what a name! |

I emailed Ticketek about it and they replyed that they don't give stuff out about the venue or whatever. And that the info should be on the site. But it isn't though. |
