maybe it costs too much to ship the pyros allll the way down under where we are so isolated from the rest of the world...& where there are still kangaroos hopping on the roads. 
Other bands manage to bring massive pyro stuff here, and if there was a cost issue with it, I wouldn't have minded paying more for my ticket if it guaranteed me the full show.

I re-read an article I saved from July this year, and Gerard explicitely stated that the only reason they were coming to Australia was because they were putting on the full production. Plus, come on - I'm MCR knows how much of a hype their tour has been so far, and they would anticipate the reaction the fans would have if all of the hype was for nothing.
...and it's a pretty long way to travel just to put on a few standard shows. |

So by the time December comes, I'm sure Frank need surgery because he's been electrocuted by an amp, Mikey will decide to have a second honeymoon because the first just wasn't long enough, and Gerard will decide that he's way too good for Australia, and its fan, and will go on a MSI tour instead.  |

i don't know what was wrong with me this morning. I was listening to the Melbourne live at Festival Hall recording of MCR & I had to switch to another song to prevent myself from crying in the middle of the street. srsly my stomach was flipping. |
