its pretty amazing, however i have absolutely nothing to compare it to.
it includes:
- full page introduction from Grant Morrison
-1 and 2/3 pages afterword from Scott Allie
-several pages worth of 2003-2006 sketches/drawings by Gerard and Gabriel, some of which were part of Gerard's initial pitch. All drawings are accompanied with notes.
-half a page from Gabriel Ba about creating the two short stories
- the two short stories, "Mon Dieu" and "But The Past Ain't Through With You"
and finally two mini biography's of Gerard and Gabriel.
Gerard's mini bio doesn't mention My Chemical Romance at all, apart from the last sentence "He's also in a band."
his bio also puts to rest any newjerseyorlosangeles questions, "He currently lives with his wife in Los Angeles, California."
hope i helped in some way
x
p.s
Deb, you actually conducted that interview?
thats so awesome!
well done

I did, Megan, and thank you
The trade paperback is a cool little addition to have if you're into comics. The hardcover collector's edition, due out in late fall, is supposed to contain all six DHP's and an expanded sketchbook section. It's $63 at tfaw.com
when the collector's edition comes out, will it be avaliable in stores, or just online?...

^^ You can order it in any comic book shop. You could probably order it through any bookshop (Borders, B&N, etc) as well, since they keep trades on hand. Being that it's the $75 special edition, they'll probably require you to pay for it beforehand. Comic shops usually don't if you have a sub with them, but that's because they know you and know they're not ordering a $75 book for nothing.
ok! so you can pre-order it in stores now?
yay =D
i have a comic shop right down the street. literally. i love it.

Probably online first, for pre-order purposes, and then stores. The trade paperback is in stores now, so I don't see why the hardcover wouldn't be, although it is a collector's edition.

Yes. Once something becomes available in the Previews catalog (which this edition is, as of last month, I believe, or maybe the month before) comic shops are able to pre-order it. Just go into your shop and ask them to place the order for you. You could order it online but unless you get it through amazon.com you will also have to pay shipping charges. Ordering through the store you save the shipping. Good luck.
