I also have a question. When waiting in line so early in the morning, what do you do if you have to use the restroom?
Ya, the restroom thing kinda has me worried too....diapers anyone? lol

make friends with the people who are queuing beside you and ask them to hold your place, while you go to the toilet in the venue =].
or if you're queuing with a group of friends, a few of you can stay in line while the others go to the loo and then when you get back your other friends can go to the toilet.

there'll be people queuing probably from 3am/4am in the morning, camping out.
if it's on a weekday, where there's school, the queues will be less busy during the daytime than it will be on a weekend when all the teenagers can start lining up far earlier.
but yeah, people will be out there from the early hours of the morning.

Really? We'll be able to use the restrooms in the venue?

^ yeah, you should be.
there won't be bouncers there or anything throughout the day time, not until about 5pm/6pm, there might be a receptionist but they can't stop you from using the toilets if it's open during the day.

when i went, it was held at a university hall. so it was on the uni campus and we just wandered in and out of the main area, using the toilets as much as we liked during the day =p.

And, if you aren't allowed to use the venue's bathroom (when I go to shows, the venues are usually closed), there are usually public restrooms in nearby places. Whether it be a restaurant, store, etc.

For the standing in line thing...im actually going in the morning, the day before the actual concert (so May 9th, the concert is May 10th) with my friend and we'll be doing a camp-out lol Don't ask...we are so having fun with it.

But most people get there in the afternoon-ish the day of...not like us idiots. lol

Okay, so i'm going to my first MCR concert soon and I'm gunna wear a MCR t-shirt. Should I wear a Black Parade one or is it ok to wear a Revenge one? I'm sure it's ok to wear merch from their other albums but I thought I better check. Don't laugh at my stupid question I'm a gigging n00b =D

^ heh. well, it's your own personal preference really. it is a black parade tour but that doesn't mean three cheers isn't still part of the band as well- apparently they do a revenge section during the show in this year's tour.
when i saw them last year, i wore my hoodie which is from the revenge period, even though they were playing most of their set from tbp album.
it really just depends on what merch you want to wear. =]. i don't think there's any right or wrong choice.

they alwasy rip you off on the price at concerts. where i go to concerts ts usually like 30 dollars for a t shirt. if i were u id go to hot topic and buy a short instead of getting one there. sometimes they have hoodies at the concert but they can get into the 50's.

Okay, for the concert, my friend wants me to go to the venue reaaaaally early in the morning to try to
meet them with her, as one of her friends said thats how they met them by getting there before the tour bus arrived.
But thats means we'll be there from whatever time in the morning to really late
at night, as we'll try and meet them after the show too. I'm just wandering if anyone
knows when the tour bus does get to the venue, because I don't really fancy being there from so early 'til so late.

It really depends on where they're coming from, how long it will take them to get to your venue, etc. But, with my experience, tour buses usually get there around noon, maybe a little bit earlier. And, if you really want to meet them, I would suggest going to the venue sometime before the show and looking around , getting familiar with it. It will help you out a lot if you know where you are and where you're going. If you've already been to the venue, then you probably already know your way around! Oh, and they aren't always on their tour buses. They like to walk around and check out the shops around the venues they are at. For example, before a House of Blues show, I saw Gerard shopping for CD's at the Virgin Megasore next to the venue. They don't like staying in their buses all day.
