Like sure, it doesn't happen a lot, but I can't imagine anyone making a big deal out of it. actually me and my friends were just talking about this, and my friend was telling me how she's only attracted to african americans and she's white. and everyone just sort of continued on in their conversations and didn't make a big deal out of it... but I know my family would make an issue out of it. not my immediate, but like my grandma and my aunts and uncles. They all live in a very small town in northern minnesota. And my grandma is like ninety something. and it wouldn't even be mean things, just comments that people would consider offensive. but personally, as much as it disturbs me when they makes comments, I know that I have to take into account thier society and how they grew up and that's its extremely different from mine. I think as long as you love the other person, what other people think or say about it is irrelevant I actually do really like this one guy who's of different race than me. I doubt if anything would every happen, but it has nothing to do with race. |

I don't know how many times I have to say this, but love isn't about race, sex, age (when it's legal) or any other physical difference. It's about the passion you feel for another person. Two of my sisters have children with black men (we are caucasion) and my other sister is dating a Hasian man. One of my sisters had a child with a black man, but when the relationship didn't work out, she started dating a Puerto Rican. They are expecting a child at the end of the month. I see nothing wrong with their relationships. They are in love, and there is nothing wrong with being in love. My necies and nephews are beautiful, and have loving, caring parents. As long as you're in love, it doesn't matter what you look like, or where you come from. |

We do get a lot of stares and occasionally rudecomments when we are out, but it's always from older people. I think it's because they grew up in a different time when it wasn't as acceptable. We just try to ignore it because they aren't living our lives so it shouldn't matter. It is hard sometimes though because words do hurt. Just because a person has a different skin color then you doesn't mean that they still aren't a person. Some people think differently and are unfortunately living a sad life. There are no superior races, but some people still think that way. Our generation is helping to change that, but it will never go away. |

They've warmed up to him eventually though. Mwa ha ha. I think if you really love someone (not obsess or stalk or lust), nothing else should matter like race or age or missing limbs. Besides, racially-hybrid babies grow up to be hot so my future son or daughter is going to be such a pimp ^__^ |
