| Public Pervert Patron Saint of Switchblade Fights  Age: 33 Gender: Female Posts: 66857 | By The Alchemist 7/30 New York, NY @ The Knitting Factory 7/31 Philadelphia, PA @ The Fillmore at the TLA 8/2 Poughkeepsie, NY @ The Chance 8/3 Hartford, CT @ Webster Theatre 8/4 Richmond, VA @ Alley Katz 8/5 Winston-Salem, NC @ Ziggy's Still not near me  Plus is still not the Hawthorne Heights tour...this from Derek (off the KVLT):06/19/07 : new orleans hey everybody i want to say thanks to all of the kvlt kids that have been coming out to the shows so far, i have had a blast hanging out with you guys,. now, i want to address a few things to clear up the questions you have had as far as having to leave hh tour a little early. unfortunately both of the tours were being booked at the same time, and when we got both of the itineraries we were trying to figure out what to do, either drop off a few shows with deftones or drop off a few with hh. it was a shitty decision to have to make, but we decided to drop off of hh tour and head to deftones early. to compensate for this, we have added a handfull of headlining shows on the east coast in most of the cities (or if not in the same city somewhere reasonably close) that we are having to cancel with hh. we will be playing these headlining shows with 3 other bands, alesana, vanna and four years strong. the shows are as follows: 07/30-NY,NY the knitting factory 07/31-Philly, PA- the TLA 08/02-Poughkeepsie, NY-the chance 08/03-Hartford, CT-webster theater 08/04-Richmond, VA-Alley katz 08/05-Winston-Salem, NC-Ziggy's these shows are booked and we will be there. i hope that this will be even better for you guys that we had to cancel on, even though you have to wait 2 weeks longer. this way we will have a longer set time, and be in control of the ship, meaning better meet and greets, lower ticket prices etc. additionally there are two other headlining shows that we have added to our schedule during the deftones tour. the first is 07/21 in st paul, MN at station 4 the second is 07/22 in milwaukee, WI at the Rave underground these two shows we will have nodes of ranvier and the end as support. right now we are doing everything in our power to make sure something ike this doesnt happen again, as well as trying to compensate you guys for all of the tours we have had to cancel. there are a few kids that had bought flights to the shows we cancelled, and we are rebooking their flights for them on our dime. we are not cancelling any more tours anymore. sonny is not with us, and we have three people up front that could sing the entire set if they had to. i hope you guys will stick around and let us prove it to you in person. anyways, sorry for the inconvenience, i hope to see every one of you guys out at the shows. we have been having a great time with all of the kvlt kids we have met so far on this tour. take care everyone, i hope this has cleared up any confusion or frustration you guys may have had. |
