The concept was pretty fun though, I think it would have been even more fun if the band had gotten beat up or killed or something  Just to add some drama.Sad that Frankie didnt got so much screentime, next vid I demand Franks in focus. I feel like the Mr. Horse from Ren and Stimpy when he says "No Sir, I don't like it." Just like IDLY in really does not make any sense whatsoever. It isn't cohesive. If I was unfamiliar with MCR, I would not get any real sense of the band at all. I think the editing is also bad IMHO. I'd like to know why the New Zealand vid they premiered is different than this one. Atleast in that version, they showed the teenagers bursting through the door. I am also highly upset that they edited out the word Gun and under your shirt. There are so many videos out there that objectify women or promote self-centered capitalism and this song has an important message and they edit out the important parts. I guess you can see what Gerard is mouthing though. I would really like to know both the band and Marc Webb's thought process behind the video. I did like someone's idea though that it represents probably the band's experience with overzelous fans or like how Gerard described being surrounded by a mob of teenagers and it made him nervous in TBP special edition booklet. However, I agree (Hi, Amy btw) that it is cool to have a new MCR video in the mix. Plus, I do have to admit Gerard was amazing in his performace in the vid. He made me smile. LOL and Poor Ray . . . . Edit: Okay . . .so I just watched the version on MCR's youtube page and it made more sense and made the video a bit better IMO. Stupid censoring MTV . . . . x And I liked the message at the end of the video which SHOULD have appeared on the MTV premier of the vid. |

| DeCiMaTeD_DrEaMs Bleeding on the Floor  Age: 36 Gender: Female Posts: 1092 | O__O i just saw the one they posted on their youtube. i have to say its waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than the mtv one!! not many things were different but those few things that were gave it a little more sense  like i love how the teens break into the auditorium and run down the hallways, ..also you can see how they push gerard to the ground, i dont think i saw that on the mtv ones. anyway i like it more now than couple of hours ago. |
