I'm hoping for new merch too!

In March, there was a scarf I wanted but they sold the last one before I could get to the front of the queue, so I'd quite like one of those if they're doing them again. I got a hoodie and a couple of t-shirts. The hoodie is huge but its comfy and warm.

If its your first concert, don't be afraid to ask to see the size of tees and hoodies against you if you're not sure of your size (sometimes the merch comes up large/small) - don't worry that they might be in a hurry and you might be getting pushed around, as it may be your only chance to make sure you get the size you need. Plus, try to take cash because you'll get charged to use your card.

I'd say if you're sitting, you may as well get your merch first and just keep it safe through the show. But if you're standing and you've waited ages to get as close to the front as possible, its probably best to wait until the end.

No problem! Oh, the other thing I thought of: if there's a crowd at the stand and you're at the front, look like you've chosen and you know what you want and are ready to pay and they should come to you quicker than if you look like you're still choosing.

Absolutely! Someone in their marketing department must have made a big booboo guessing the popularity of the scarves! It often happens though. You see the merch guys drag the last one they have off the display and hand it over

Yeah it depends what you want.

I'm trying to remember... but usually the prices aren't far off what you'd pay in shops. I think T-shirts are £15ish, hoodies are £25/£30ish, £5 for badge packs, scarf was £8; I can't remember how much the bags were. I guess after the Newcastle gig it will become more clear what there is and how much they're asking.

ETA: Backstreetmerch usually has lots of the merch on their site and they're usually not far off the actual prices. However, there will probably be some stuff at the concerts which aren't on the site yet so plan for that too!
