Yes ^ Smile i was completely going for it on both nights, i thinks that's why i was pissing off an older lady next to me.
So wasn't moshing she looked like she was dancing to country or something, like bopping her head to pop music.

Tehe, i'm not horrible really- it was just an amusing sight among the majority who were really going for it Smile

The Rumor.:
F i a:
Of course we all start out as new fans.
We can't all have found out about MCR when they began.

Probably the majority of us were only like 9 when they got together, and not into this music.

Sorry, that was pointless.
I think I was heading somewhere with a valid point.

But I've completely forgotten.

All I am saying is fans should treat each other the same; we're all there because we share a love for the same band.

No that was exactly my point, I just worded the beginning of my post terribly. What I meant was that I adore new fans (although not a crappy crowd/show) but I was with old and elitist fans or just plain mean people. That's why I didn't enjoy the MCR set.

I just love normal fans.
Ones who enjoy the music.
Ones who appreaciate the band.

Not ones who are there because it's "cool".

I adore all fans who love or really-like the band...the only type of fan I can't stand is elitist kids. I hear the words 'true fan' in any form and I'm gone. I just think that we all like and feel the music in some way or another and that's awesome, that the whole point...but it's when people complain about that or try to stop people enjoying it that it really sucks. Especially because it can be real hard to enjoy it anyway, without people being mean. I don't know...I just want people to be nice and tolerant and enjoy life.

I agree with you The Rumour, i know i sound like i'm contradicting myself.
*sigh*
It annoys me that some people are ignorant enough to think that TBP is their first album and that they will look bored and tell us to shut up throughout Bullets just because they don't know the words. Or that some people will go to a show merely to see "Gerald" or because it's the 'in-thing', in my opinion these people are wrong.
It also annoys when people say that you're not a 'real fan' if you haven't followed the band since they started/ever been to a concert. In my opinion these people are also wrong.

I'm not making any sense i know Disgust

I think it's mean to pick on someone because they only found out of MCR because of TBP.

The crowd in the pit at Newcastle was amazing. We were all chatting and this really nice guy was looking after me but it was total chaos. I nearly was suffocated from the guards dragging people out over my head because I was directly in front of Gerard's mic stand, literally facing him straight on so we were getting it from all sides. The show was nowhere near as good as London though. Not for MCR anyway. We did have Frankie there though.

I only discovered MCR when tbp came out but I went and listened to the other albums asap. I think there's nothing wrong with being a new fan but at least make the effort to listen to the music before you go to a gig.

I used to hate them. Like, they were the one band I properly hated.
Then I went to a show, listened to their music for the first time (I wrote a short piece about it on my Mibba, it's pretty cool. It's called Merci Pour Le Venin. = ) ) and now I'm a huge fan. I'm literally the only person I know in real life who's a fan (I live in a town of 5,000 people...I think I may be one of the only fans here).

Since we're telling stories Smile..
I first heard Im Not Okay when it came out and i wasn't impressed, back then music didn't mean that much to me, there had only been one band in which i had adored them and truly understood messages behind the music and had realised that songs were more than songs.
It was when i heard Helena that i could physically see the emotion poured into it and it made me open my eyes, the day i saw Gerard singing with such passion i was hooked.
When i realised the messages behind the songs it's so cliche to say it..but i found a part of myself, i found strength,
Cut a long story short songs are never just songs to me anymore, as much as MCR are not just a band to me.

That's why i was so emotional on thursday i guess, because i realised after seeing them 4 times this year it was the last time i'd see them for at least two :/
