| tabitha Bleeding on the Floor Age: 43 Gender: Female Posts: 1831 | Thanks, guys. I'm rather fond of it. Jules, love the new avi! "Anybody want a peanut?" Classic. Well, I'll be gone for a few days. I have to work out of a different office the rest of this week, so I'm crashing on a friend's couch so I don't have to drive 4 hours a day round trip. Blech. Good thing I put new funzies on the iPod to play with. Oh well - at least I'll get dinner at Panera a night or two. Yum, Panera. Love you guys! |
| The Original Bob. Demolition Lover Age: 26 Gender: Female Posts: 16672 | psychochip:HELL YEAH. I love your tattoo, It's beautiful, and amazing. |
| Green Faerie Salute You in Your Grave Age: 35 Gender: Female Posts: 2903 | Yeah that picture of the tattoo was nice. I think if I was ever going to go for a tattoo i'd go for writing of some sort... It looks nicer than pictures alot of the time. : ) I'm hoping that this new year is fantastic! I am currently waiting on, books that I want to treat myself to, and the MCR Concert DVD! I always feel horribly guilty when I buy things for myself, but I want these things soo bad. Hehe. I am bringing in this new year with a new burst of enthusiasm and organisation and I couldn't be happier about it. Life is fun, and I will embrace this new year and make it fantastic. I have a job i'm loving, wonderful friends and fantastic music to listen to. I hope everyone on this board (and MCR!) can feel as positive as I am in the start of the new year. xxx |

| tabitha Bleeding on the Floor Age: 43 Gender: Female Posts: 1831 | Corporate America sucks. I drove over 2 1/2 hours to the other office yesterday (granted, part of it was holiday traffic, getting through the attractions area the day after New Year's with all the tourists going home -- it was much easier past the airport exits) only to be told that since their Internet is down there due to the holiday break, they couldn't work out of that office, so neither could I. You know, there's this wonderful invention called a cell phone that someone could have called and left me a message (I had to go to a memorial service yesterday morning, a dear friend's husband passed away on 12/26, so I had my phone off during the service out of respect, but I do have voice mail) so I would know not to make the trek. Piffle. So now I'm working from home. It wasn't a complete loss -- I visited my good friends up there and ended up crashing at their place last night anyway since I was already there. Had a nice dinner out, got to catch up and get some inside scoop news on his upcoming comic projects and the like and so it ended up being worth the drive. However -- DEB! Remember I told you I'd never been to Melbourne? Um, yes I have! I guess we go there whenever we go to Cocoa Beach (cleaner and less tourists than Daytona) and it's near Port Canaveral where we go whenever we cruise (usually 2x year). So I have been where you were when you lived here, and Tara lives where I lived when I was in Jersey! Wacky, eh? I noticed the "Has Gerard Changed" thread made its way back to the front page. Oy. So sad. Ah well, this thread is still on the front page, so let's kill them with kindness! Cookies and hot cocoa all around! And it is bloody cold. I think it said 43 degrees on the sign I passed coming home. But it's supposed to break tonight and be back in the 70s tomorrow. |
| Pixie-Gates Awake and Unafraid Age: 33 Gender: Female Posts: 13231 | New Year wishes to the boys! Gerard: No matter what, you will always make me smile. I'm proud of you for all you've done, and thrilled that you've found someone so beautiful to be your life partner. Just don't hate me for fancying the ass off her. Please. ![]() Frankie: I can't wait til you're a married boy! Love forever and for always for keeping it real. You rock my socks and I adore you. Best wishes to you and Jamia in the future, I hope the wedding is a fairytale! ![]() Ray: I hear you're engaged, and I'm excited and delighted for you! I hope 2008 brings you joy and laughter and more of your dreams coming true. Thank you for the music, thank you for the venom, and thank you for that guitar pick. Mikey: That wave you gave my friend Caz in November made her millennium! I hope you have a great year, filled with contentment and happiness. It was wonderful to see you again in Belfast! ![]() Bob: Why is it I always reach you last? ![]() -Grace I've missed this thread, haven't posted here in ages. |
| The Original Bob. Demolition Lover Age: 26 Gender: Female Posts: 16672 | * I am ashamed, i surrendered to the pissy mood I was in and posted on the Has Gerard Changed thread. I will not do it again.* |
| Pixie-Gates Awake and Unafraid Age: 33 Gender: Female Posts: 13231 | Bob.: I succumbed too. It won't happen again. |

| Person0001 Always Born a Crime Age: 40 Gender: Female Posts: 5099 | It's okay, I just ranted in the "Old Gerard versus New Gerard" thread as well. LMAO must be contagious this morning. Actually, if we all went ahead and backed each other up it'd probably be a good thing. |
| little monster. Full of Ephedrine Age: 31 Gender: Female Posts: 40962 | It just manages to make me angry like nothing else. Do people like to moan about these things? |
| Person0001 Always Born a Crime Age: 40 Gender: Female Posts: 5099 | Yes Anique, I believe they do, and there are lots of reasons for that, but the top three are usually: 1) to detract from one's own insecurities 2) to get attention from others 3) to listen to themselves speak, because they're fascinated by the sound of their own voices I am going to continue to reiterate what I always say like the broken record everyone would like Gerard to be: Karma's a bitch. There but for the grace of God go you. Do not judge lest ye be judged. Nuff said. |
| little monster. Full of Ephedrine Age: 31 Gender: Female Posts: 40962 | yeah you're right. It sucks though. I miss the time when I was a new fan and I didn't know anything about people hating on them. I hope it will wear of during their break but I don't know. maybe it will get worse because people want to stay occupied. |
| kid from yesterday. Bleeding on the Floor Age: 32 Gender: Female Posts: 1265 | -sneaks in- ![]() Can I bask in the positivity and amazing-ness of this great thread? I'm sick of the bashing. |
| Jenny. Moderator Age: 27 Gender: Female Posts: 19720 | Hey guys. Bob- I hope your wrist gets better soon, we all miss you so much! it's just not the same without our Bobert. Oh, and a late Happy Birthday! Ray- you're an amazing, amazing guitarist. I wish i could play like you. I heard that you're engaged, and I'm so glad for you. best wishes for you (and your future wife?) I love you. Frank- wow. just wow. you're so energetic, and I'm so excited for you and Jamia! Mikey- I'm glad you're back. i missed you. I hope you're happy with Alicia!! Gerard- Not all of us analyse you like some sort of lab creature. I personally don't care what your hair colour is, who you're dating, if you have hickeys on your neck. I love you so fucking much, it's strange to think that you don't know i exist. TO ALL OF MCR- KEEP THE FAITH. KEEP ON MARCHING. THANK THEM FOR THE VENOM. WE LOVE YOU. SO, SO MUCH. -Jenny. P.S why does nobody realise that Frank can't be obsessed with skittles? He's vegan! |
| The Original Bob. Demolition Lover Age: 26 Gender: Female Posts: 16672 | corpse bride.: I never thought of that... BOBERT YOU BIG BOBMAN!!! get your ass into some kind of treatment place and GET YOUR WRIST ALL BETTER!!!! *sigh* that was Bob rant of the day. To all of ya in de thread.... you are amazing people, especiallly because you decide not to judge the boys for anything they do, and not to analyze there personal lives. That is a wonderful thing. This thread is a welcome refuge from the shittiness most of the rest of this site (sadly) is now wallowing in. GERARD: I'm happy for you. I was a little shocked to say the least. But I think you'll be really happy. SO IGNORE THE SHITFACES WHO TALK SHIT ABOUT GER-Z TO EVERYBODY! Read this months spin. Little blurb: September: My Chemical Romance's Gerard Way marries MSI's Lyn-Z - concept album about mortgage rates, trips to IKEA due next year. ![]() |
| Person0001 Always Born a Crime Age: 40 Gender: Female Posts: 5099 | corpse bride.: FTW!!!! |

| tabitha Bleeding on the Floor Age: 43 Gender: Female Posts: 1831 | keve'sLadyofSorrows: I only wish it would. Unfortunately there are far too many people out there who feel the need to shit on him. I don't mind so much when someone posts their opinion civilly, with an explanation of their reasonings, without attacking anyone. People have every right to believe whatever they want to believe, but it would be nice if they wouldn't start fights and be nasty. I sent a PM yesterday to one of the girls who posted that she was unhappy with Gerard -- but she said it nicely, didn't attack anyone (even Gerard), and was perfectly nice about it, and I told her as much. I got a lovely reply back and have a lot of respect for her. I am torn between wanting to still post there and try to help bring civility and open, honest discussion back to the thread, and wanting to say fuck it and let it go. For each person who posts genuinely (either for or against Gerard and his actions) there's someone who has to yell, be nasty, stir up shit, and try to bring everyone down. I did, however, stand up for Deb's last post, and put my thoughts on the subject. We'll see how it goes. I much prefer it in here, where it is positive. Things have been said *against* the band here, ironically enough, but at least it is well said, supported, and not hateful or demeaning. I'm fine with that. I do, however, wonder how Gerard and Lyn-Z feel about the "Ger-Z" designation. It's cute, maybe a little too cute. Although they are married, they are still two separate people. *flashbacks to the "Bennifer" era - shudder* And welcome back, imissyou! Love your signature. That *was* the best quote of the issue, wasn't it? |
