Good Morning Thread - sorry I've been so AWOL - RL problems intervened again Sad btw you guys mentioned two of my favorite MCR songs up there, DL and Disenchanted. Good stuff. Everyone please cross your fingers with me that MCR turns up either on Bamboozle NJ or some other home show - it looks they are extending their tour a bit!

It seems like I've stumbled into a discussion of favorite song/moment, so I'd like to chime in:
I love Sharpest Lives, Early Sunsets over Monroeville, and I Don't Love You.

Most sublime moment: in Jetset Life, where G first sings: "Pull the plug/but I'd like to learn your name/When holding on/I hope you do the same/Aww sugar." When he hits that high note, and ESPECIALLY when he sings "sugar"...well...I can't describe it. I for sure know I can't sing it like that. He puts so much pathos and emotion into those lines, without overdoing it. It's just perfect.

Rant over, you may go back to your dull dismal lives LOL.

I'm listening to WTTBP right now. I can't believe that I despised this song when I first heard it, cos when it came on while I was listening to the album for the first time, and indeed any time I hear it now, it absolutely melts me. I love it so much. And when it's played live I go completely nuts, especially for ...to join the Black Parade, cos that line seems to unite the entire crowd and the band as one. An army against the world, with a common goal, purpose, and aim in life.

In Love

I love WTTBP. :] A lot of people complain about how it's so overplayed and overrated, but I think it's an amazing song. It's like... epic. In Love

That video was funny, Smile I love filming random moments, I have one of me just getting my friend to do stuff, and she hates that I won't delete it, she was really drunk so it makes me laugh. Hehe. I am also of the opinion that anything said with that accent will sound better, not just Gerard's name.

I have had a listening to MCR day today, I am currently addicted to 'Prison', just the guitar alone is amazing, I have about 8 versions of that song on my iPod, Lol.

Ooh, I also found out when my MCR anniversary is. Smile I've wondered for ages when I fell in love with the band and now I know. *grin* I'm a geek and I don't care, Lol... I'm fine with it. Aaaahhh coffee from my MCR mug, Bliss.

My MCR anniversary will fall next month, on the date of my first show, 2/23/07, which will someday soon be tattooed on my body. MCR, if you're ready to record, I'm down! If you don't want to take a long-ass break, I'm good with that. Whatever you guys wanna do, Dudes!

Whoo -- leave for three days and see the craziness I return to! ILYG.

Pixie -- that entire video was adorable. I love your accent. I love accents in general but UK accents are amazing. Thanks for posting it!

MCR anniversary for me is May 5, 2007. Easy to remember because it was Free Comic Book Day, and in case you didn't know the story -- I gave TUA a try because I loved the James Jean cover, enjoyed the story, and Googled Gerard to see what other comics he'd done since I hadn't heard about him and wondered why Dark Horse would waste their FCBD book on an unknown. An unknown indeed. Laughing (leave it to a comic book geek to not know anything about the world outside her CBS)

So I just got back from this "conference" thing I got sent on for work, up in the freezing-ass-cold mountains of North Carolina. Holy crap but it gets cold there. And remote doesn't even begin to cover it. The town has a bar and a restaurant and a few shops outside of the assembly, and then nothing but truck stops and adult clubs, and everywhere you go the air is blue with cigarette smoke. Music? Country. That's it, that's all. We had a training session in a room with no heat, and besides the fact that I couldn't feel my toes or my ass, my nose started bleeding. Not just a trickle, it poured. I'm from Florida where it gets down to freezing maybe once or twice a year and that's at like 2 a.m. when I'm snuggled under my covers, and when I wake up it's usually at least 40 degrees. Oy. But I got to see snow for the first time in like 9 years, so that was awesome. It's amazing how much I take for granted: warm weather, a plethora of (smoke-free!) restaurants, the internet, GOOD COFFEE (you know it's bad when the first place I bee-lined for in the airport was Starbucks), and more than one kind of music. I think I'll go to one of the parks this weekend just because I can. Mr. Green

It's so nice to be home. In Love

But I'm, er, Irish... Wink

And we haven't been in the UK since April 1948, don't mix that up. Just a word of warning. Bands have been bottled/lynched/booed offstage here for calling us part of the UK. Tehe

HAPPY DAYS!
Finally got my doctor's note for one MCR tattoo. Wow

My MCR anniversary is September 2005, not sure what date though. I remember the first time I listened to Revenge as vividly as if it were yesterday... In Love ...but I can't remember what date it was.

Woah! Lots of conversation since I was last here! Pixie-gates....LOVED your video, very random! And good luck with the tattoo as well.

Only two months and 4 days till My Coke Fest yay....alas no MCR but I am determined to be entertained nonetheless. Plus I just found out that there will be one Farrell movie per month until March - yeah yeah I know .... leave me alone I'm obsessed. What I'm getting at is that my year will be good, well at least until March.

While on holiday we got some proper speakers put in the front of the car so now I have discovered a whole new listening pleasure in MCR YAY! Mainly I listen to music in the car so now I can hear the guitars properly and yes, they are indeed amazing! It's like a whole new experience so I will obsess over that until the boys throw new material at us.

I downloaded a bunch of new videos during the break but havent had any time to watch it so tomorrow is the weekend and I shall hog the computer and catch up on interviews and entertainment.

Now for comic relief: Girl I know found a kitten in the gutter behind her office, took it home and it proceeded to terrorise the household. So they got suspicious and phoned the nature conservation people and sent them a picture. Jokes on them... turns out it is a wild cat - looks domestic but isn't ... at all (longer tail bigger ears....crazy wild) and they had to take the monster away. I cracked up at that one.... well at least it wasn't a lion! Although my boyfriend's uncle works on a farm where they breed big cats etc for parks and New Years eve one of the cubs bit him, then he came to visit us and my dog bit him - hilarious! Then his car broke down so I guess it wasn't his day.

Now that I am back to work it feels as if I didn't even have a holiday - damnit to hell.

Gerard is a really common name her but it is "Gerhard" here - I guess its the Afrikaans version - my boyfriend's name. The "G" is pronounced with "ch" in Achmed? And then he has the surname from hell - Germishuizen. I will never marry.......hehe.

I have discovered the joy of the Appassionatta horse show on YouTube and am now determined to find the entire show - if there are any horse lovers here? look it up it's truly beautiful.
