I have a shopping list for FX, and the second thing on it (after getting Nathan Fillion to sign my Serenity #1) is getting a signed copy of 100 Bullets for Loz. I can just see the conversation already: Me: "Um, Mr. Azzarello sir, can you sign this for my friend?" BA: "Why? Haven't you read my comic?" Me: "Well, you see, I wanted to, but then there was this other comic that had a shiny cover on it, and then there was Buffy -- I like that one -- then my dad had a new book out, so I had to read that one, and then there was the time I had to reread Watchmen because I read something about the movie and it didn't seem right so I had to check the source material, and then I went on a trip and forgot to buy a new book so I just took Arkham Asylum instead -- that's my favorite, you know, because the Joker's all bat-shit-crazy, ha ha, get it, bat-shit, Batman, ha ha ha -- and then I had that one week where I had to buy food instead of comics -- that was a rough week -- then there was that pesky...." BA: "I get it, I get it." underbreath: "psycho" "How do you spell your friend's name?" Me: "Loz. El. Oh. Zee." BA: "And what do you guys do when you hang out?" Me: "Well, see, we haven't really ever met. She's my friend on the Internet. We met on a board about My Chemical Romance." BA: "MCR, huh? I bet you made time to read that Jared guy's comic book, but not mine!" Me: smallvoice "Maybe a little....the covers.....they're just so pretty...." BA: rolls eyes, sighs, hands book "Here you go." Me: "Um, can you take a picture with me? This way Loz can see what I look like...." BA: "You seriously need to get out more." ILY all so very much. It's like a great big web o'luv in here. Cookie?

For those of you who are non-American, Jeopardy is like, THE brainiac game show. My DAD called me to tell me to watch it. We had our own category, about chemicals, but there was also one entitled "Pop Music" and the question was "What event is the song 'Skylines and Turnstiles' by My Chemical Romance about?" Woohooo we have arrived! Alex Trebek knows who we are! ahahah you can bet the boys' families were calling each other. Congratulations, guys! Helllllll yeah....

(Rolls eyes) I think the most that people will know of that is from LOTMS, sigh lotms Must watch again now! I hope everyone's having a great weekend. I had a nine year old girl make me my own Gerard collage yesterday, and she wrote MCR all over my hand. Lol, I must stop talking about the band around impressionable youths... I don't even notice i'm doing it most of the time. The little girl tries to convince me that Teenagers is her favourite song, and I try to convince her that her parents would never let her hear it. My job can be fun sometimes.

That DVD has enough goodies on it to make you drool. There's about 5 hours of footage altogether and a full live concert, videos, etc. etc. It's heaven. But anyhoo. Methinks I'm going to order a beauteous MCR t-shirt tonight.
