Good, cos I don't Tehe

Well I don't like most of it. Instrumentals are alright, when they start the singing it can get irritating.

That Eindhoven show was absolutely spectacular, one of the best I've seen in my life. My Scottish best friend and I went with another Irish girl and we met loads of people over there, from England and Norway as well as the Netherlands. It was amazing. Very Happy

Why don't you come join us in WAYT?

I really love the old, instrumental music.

I would join you in the WAYT, but it's 1.06 am, and I have been trying to leave for half an hour Razz

anyway, before I go I just want to say:

Gerard, I believe you do love your fans. You don't have to get down on one knee for us and sing serenades for me to know that.

night! hug

*smile* I got to go to a fabulous Rock club last night and it was amazing, three floors and I got to dance to alot of my favourite songs. All my friends despised it, but I had a lovely time. Although on my way in I did spot a boy in an MCR t shirt, and because I was horribly horribly drunk (Fall down drunk, Doh!) I of course screamed in excitement and hugged him, I think I scared him alot. I then fell down on the stairs and took my friend with me in a big pile. This morning I woke up with a hangover and this stupid memory which I now cringe at. So I would like to make a public apology to the poor boy I 'attacked', I don't think he knew it was because of his T Shirt, Lol. I should not be allowed around alcomahol.

Amazing night though, I don't get to dance to rock enough!

Hope everyone else had an eventful, but less humiliating weekend than me. Smile

Haha woww, that sounds like a fun weekend. Sadly, I didn't get drunk this weekend. Ah well. I did, however, get to go see Meet The Spartans. It was ridiculous haha, it had Chris Crocker in it. T'was great.

Ah, that sounds just like me. I only get to go to my fabulous rock club once a year cos all my friends would rather go to some dank shithole playing dance or indie. I f**king hate indie music. 2 Guns

I'm beginning to notice a trend in Karlie's posts. Please be careful when you're drinking. I don't want you to get hurt.

I had a great weekend as well, although the VIP party was a bust, they had a great turnout but some Coldplay tribute band there and so the music was sappy and downbeat and way too loud. We were trying to hang out and make the best of it but you had to scream if you wanted to talk to the person right next to you, so we ended up going out to a TGIFriday's instead because everyone was trying to chat and mingle and catch up. The show was pretty good, everyone had a lot of fun and I have four more con invites now. I don't think I can do them all, but I'm going to try to hit at least 2 of them. I scored a ton of cheap/free comics and some artwork, and met a lot of great people, some famous, some not so much, but everyone was really nice.

And I mentioned I picked up a TUA shirt at the con Mr. Green and so I wore it on Saturday. I love dorks. People would either know it was Umbrella Academy, or they would ask where I got my Umbrella Corporation shirt (from Resident Evil). Tee hee. We're all so singularly minded on our own object of geekdom we forget there are others out there. I ran into a good friend of mine that I used to work with and she was dressed as PR Gerard (as if he's a Barbie doll with different outfits) and we took photos together and walked around for a while. I mentioned how odd it was that she's a girl, a good friend of mine, and I was way hot for her because she looked pretty close to the real thing. Laughing

*jawdrop* You've made me want to re read over all my posts now! Lol. I'm usually the careful one on nights out. Smile Thanks for your concern, that's sweet. But I am always safe, and I have the best friends ever, we always look out for one another.

The rock club plays Heavy Rock and Metal on the bottom floor, Classic Rock and mainstream 'rock' on the middle floor, and indie upstairs. My friends always stay on the middle and I spend most my time running downstairs to dance on my own. If I have that much trouble persuading them to go to a rock club, I figured it's going to be next to impossible to drag them to Leeds Fest (*giggle* at the thought) But I am trying! I need to go to good nightclubs more often! I get very over excited and happy for days after...

keve'sLadyofSorrows:
I've been wanting to say this for some time, so I'm starting this thread. I don't care if I get slated, and I don't care if it gets locked or deleted. I want it off my chest so here goes, for better or for worse. Please feel free to add your own to it!

If Gerard ever read this, I'd want him to see the following:

Not everyone is concerned with the hickeys on your neck, analyzing your every move or what your hair looks like that day. Some of us are laughing at the silly and wild rumours about you, and most of us love all five of you the same.

Some of us love all three albums equally, because they're all different forms of My Chemical Romance. The majority of us DO get the message you meant to send, and have more respect for you all then to force our way into your personal lives.

And a few of us disregard associating ourselves with the word "fan" for the negative connotations that word has picked up since we started following this band.

And all of us thank you, in our own ways, for touching our hearts, opening up our minds, and giving all of yourselves, unselfishly, to an assortment of random strangers.

Keep the faith, Gerard!

Sincerely, Deb

You're completely right. Well said.

I saw some of the Forbidden Planet employees wearing Umbrella Academy t-shirts when I went to the signing, but when I asked, apparently they were for staff only Sad

But I have totally got my housemate into TUA, even though he originally refused to read it because he doesn't like MCR. But now he's totally into all Gerard's artwork (he's an art student) and nicks my copy of TUA as soon as I collect it!

I saw a photo of a friend of mine at Disneyland Florida with Chip n' Dale the other day Tabitha, and I totally got the giggles because I thought I might possibly be a photo of you with my friend! But I guess we will never know! Lol! I'd love to see a real picture though Very Happy

I hope your convention was awesome *sigh*...I'm hoping to be able to go to the London Expo in April though *crosses fingers*.

I was talking about something you said actually, the other day, and someone asked how I knew you, and I was like "well....we've never actually met like....er yeah..." Lol....I love how kickass cool we are Very Happy

TARA~!~!~!~!~!!~ TACKLE! Where have you been?!?! I was getting worried! Spill!

Karlie -- I'm just saying the last few times you've mentioned going out it's involved drinking and doing potentially dangerous things (running after MCR's bus comes to mind) so I get worried. I don't drink a lot when I'm out simply because I know how easy it is to get hurt/accosted/raped/killed, at least where I live. I try to keep my wits about me, or at least have a few large trustworthy men around. I'm probably just being over-cautious.

Loz - I have a signed 100 Bullets and I picked up a copy of Wake Up that I was telling you about for the low, low price of free! I will be packing it up and sending it on its way to you soon. Brian Azzarello was not overly talkative and didn't really want to take a picture, so I'm going to send you a different photo from the con so you can see what I looks like 4 realz. (did I just type that? Good lord. I need sleep. Or coffee.) The con was fun. Maybe I'll do a whole rundown and put it with the photos and comics. We do rock, don't we? Oh, and we did get to the crazy part of Ergo Proxy. That game show episode screwed with my head. We have 6 more episodes left in the series.

Love and cookies to our boys for making these fun and kickass friendships possible.
