LOL TY <pounces back> Imagine me trying to be gone from INO for MONTHS? ahahaha yeah right!!! The longest I think I held out was a few weeks, during the hell that used to be the PLOTB explosion.

I dub this page "Dude where the fuck did you leave the acid, Man?"

Well, I think for Tara, it's been about a month or a little more. Either way, it's been a long time and I missed her around.

I am SOOO GLAD I missed the PLOTB. From what I've heard, it was icky. Somehow I always read PLOTB as Pointless Lubbering On The Band. It doesn't make any sense, but there you go.

Are they healthy? Pretty much. Are they happy? Seems to be that way. Did Gerard have his coffee this morning? Well, I had mine, and that's all that matters. That's about as personal as I need to get unless and until I meet or befriend any of them, which is bloody unlikely, so I'm good with the above.

I <3 oblivion and insanity.

.

I have been going thru some stuff.......

The husband started a new job in December
My Mom and her Fiancee came to visit from Michigan over the Christmas Holiday.
Then my sister found out she is expecting her first baby.
In January my Grandmother's health took a turn for the worse. She ended up on life support and we had to turn the machines off.
My youngest son had minor surgery.
I had what the Dr couldn't determine was pneumonia or just severe bronchitis.
2 of my Husbands Aunts were diagnosed with Cancer. One was almost in remission. The other had surgery on Monday to remove a 6cm lump.

Ok, I think that pretty much sums it all up.

Oh, and of course I listened to MCR everyday to take my mind off of stuff.

Well, interviewing (or trying to - certain camerapersons are proving themselves to be grossly unreliable) job-hunting and randomly learning who can and can't be trusted in my life. Everyone else? LOL

^^ Who doesn't? However, extrapolate on that a bit. Tell us *why* you love Frank. Leave a message in case he passes by. You know, don't spam and all that.

Anyway. Tara, sorry to hear that things have been so icky. Hope that the surgery went well for the little one. It's never easy for kids to have surgery. I'm sorry to hear about your grandmother and will keep the aunts in my thoughts. And for you, a big big hug. PM me if there's anything I can do or if you just need to vent.

I've pretty much been up to the usual, work and conventions. One down and one more in about a month, then a few months off before the fall shows. The upcoming one is the biggest one of the year unless I get out to San Diego, and I really don't think it's worth the time or effort to get out there and get shoved around and look at shoulders for 4 days straight. I think I'll go for an East Coast show instead -- if I make it out to Heroes Con in Charlotte, I can take a road trip out to see my new niece and god-daughter Ashley, and dress her in her MCR onesie so she can match her crazy auntie and all of that. Mr. Green Sounds less stressful than SDCC. Yeah, I'll miss out on Gerard signing (assuming he makes it back out there this year) but he still has the open invitation for my seat at MegaCon, if he'd like to take advantage. (hint hint, if you're reading, sir!)

So glad you're back, Tara. I've missed my seperated at birth sis.

*hugs thread* I love the niceness in this thread it's such a relief, a break from the world.

A quiz show was on the TV before and my mum said it was funny that I only knew the answers to questions about Chocolate, fictional characters and egyption symbols... Pfuit... I only know the important stuff! Lol.

I have recently acquired new obsessions that I am working through... including Corpse Bride, Lostprophets, Batman Begins, Sweeney Todd Soundtrack and The Nightmare Before Christmas Soundtrack. My iPod is full of loveliness at the moment. Smile (Best thing on there still LOTMS, Thx Deb!)

I'm sorry about the stuff that you're going through Tara, I know it's not much but you have my very best wishes. I hope things get better from now on!

Well... I just discovered this thread, and decided to comment.

They know who I am. I've recieved two letters from them as of now.
Both in response to my book, which is a retelling of The Black Parade, and two one-shots. One that is a spin-off of the aforementioned story and the other is a Keep the Faith one.

I must be amazingly late in finding this thread, by the way. But I've rarely been signing onto INO nowadays, but something called me back. I don't know what I missed about this place, but I did, so alas, I've returned.

Well, should I leave a message or something for them? I mean... to me, putting that sentence there felt stupid and yet... I dunno.

I'd want the boys to see this:

This would technically be my fourth letter. First one would be the little note back in August, second back in December with the finished story, third with the KTF collaboration you recieved, and now this.

Thank you for keeping my smile on my face.
Thank you for being there without actually being there.
Thank you for being my imaginary angels when I needed them so very dearly.
Oh, and thank you for dedicating those songs to me. Haha, I didn't think you'd do that. Took me by surprise to be quite honest.

I hope you guys are doing well.
Eh, cliche way to end a message/note/letter, but it's true.
You know I love you guys with all my heart, right? If you didn't then now you know, and I'll definitely tell you when I send off Bullets and/or Projekt Interlude.

Love,
Sam

Welcome Sam! I responded to your original post in the Media thread as well. Your story is so heart-warming. Please feel free to come in here anytime. We are always positive on this thread, and yes, the concept behind it is that if anyone in the band, or connected to, ever stumbles onto INO again, they'll hopefully be drawn to this thread first and see that the fandom is still half sane, and supportive.

Hi Sam! I read through your story also and it was amazing. I couldn't believe you are 13. Your writing style is far beyond your years. You have a great thing going -- keep writing! You have a lot of talent. It's also awesome that the guys read through it and wrote to you about it.

One last bask in the goodness before it's off to work *deep breath* Ah. Now I can get through my day. Very Happy

Love to all!

It's been a long time since I posted on the thread...or anywhere else on INO for that matter. I've neglected the friends I made here and my real-life ones and though whenever I get the chance I apologise for my absences, my efforts seem futile and dont really seem to be enough.

Tara, my thoughts are with you and your family and I hope everything works itself out hug. And though I havent had as much going on as you, I've had some stuff to deal with:

My parents are going through a bitter divorce, my sister may have to have a hyteroctomy, Im in a shit load of debt with no way out for the moment, I'm in a relationship with a guy who's insecurities are savaging all the good in our relationship and I feel bored and bitter about it...and him.

The only saving grace here is that I've taken Gerard's advice and decided to stop working a dead end 9 to 5 job. I'm going back to school to study Anatomy and Physiology so I can become a body piercer. Something I've wanted to do for a few years now but never really knew where to start. My course begins in February and I'm looking for a tattoo parlour in which I can be an apprentice. Throughout all of this, I'm working temporary jobs to make ends meet.

I'm slowly getting back into art; my writing is a release as is the drawing and tattoo designs I do and I'm commiting myself to learning new styles and techniques to build a portfolio... I havent felt this happy or excited about anything in my professional life and it's a good feeling.

You guys here are an inspiration; you are my happy place and I thank you for inspiring me.

Nat that was the best update I've seen from you yet! First of all, I am so sorry about your folks <<<<<hugs>>>> and your sister <<<<<<<double hugs>>>>>>> You know where I stand on the boyfriend thing, and always have. I support your strength and know that you will make the right decision in the end. I am SO happy to hear about your professional direction, and so very proud of you! I want you to keep us updated on your progress, alright? It IS tough for us, not hearing from you, but your update here makes it all worthwhile. Is it alright if I copy/paste it into an e-mail for the WMSC? I love you, Girl - know that I'm here for you always. Love, Deb

Wow, Nat! While I hate to hear about all the bad stuff going on, I do have to say good for you for following your dreams. I wish you nothing but the very best, feel free to PM if there's anything I can do to help or if you want to vent.

It's funny to me how much math and science there is in the tattoo and piercing world. People are so quick to dismiss it when in reality it's a valid and fast-growing art form. I had a parent get mad at me because their 10-year-old was drawing pictures and he told me he wanted to be a tattoo artist, so I showed him my tattoo and talked to him about all the things he would have to learn to do it professionally. Well, he told his parents that Miss Tabitha thought he was cool and told him about building his portfolio for art school and how he would have to have an apprenticeship and so on, so his mom yelled at me because of course she wants her baby to be a Harvard grad lawyer or somesuch. I say, if he's got the interest, nurture it. Where would we as MCR fans be if the guys' parents hadn't supported their sons' dreams? It's just yet another reason I don't think I should ever have kids -- people would think I was a bad parent for supporting their dreams instead of trying to mold them into a mini-me or a mini-hubs.

It reminded me of this sideshow guy The Enigma I saw over the weekend. He did the weird stuff like hammering a nail and power-screwing a screw into his nostrils, among other things. Most of the girls around were grossed out and left, I was enthralled -- not by what he was doing, but the pure science of knowing that there are places in the body where you can actually do that without hurting yourself. I saw him at the party later that night and asked him about it. It was fascinating. He explained it to me. I even got bold and asked to touch his horns (he has dermal implants to look like demon horns) and he was cool with it. I love interesting people like that.

Lol, I am ALWAYS the first person to ask if I can touch things like that. I think it's because of my child like curiousity.

I just got back from work, which consisted of explaining to 10 year olds that I couldn't let them listen to MCR because of the swear words and Watching Nightmare Before Christmas. Smile I'm pretty sure I have the best job ever. And one little lad kept talking to me about Green Day... i'm surprised some parents allow their kids to listen to music with swearing. I have to be SO careful to watch my language when i'm there... terms like Fudgicles and Jiminy Jillikers have started taking over my vocabulary, Hehe.

It's got me thinking though. What music I like is suitable for children? Is there any? Hehe.

I had the randomest conversation today with an 8 year old...
Girl: This guy that works in the shop... He's Gay!
Me: *Fake gasp* Really? Urm... Ok.
Girl: No REALLY Gay, As in sleeps with a man!
Me: Ok. You do know it's not as uncommon as you think, don't you?

She was quite horrified by the concept, like it was a disease of some sort. I couldn't find a way of explaining to her how very common it was, without having to face her angry dad at the end of my shift. *cringe*

Hope everyone had/ is having a nice day. Smile

I have a friend who thinks gayness is a disease akin to alcoholism. She doesn't think gays are evil as much as they're unfortunately inflicted with it. Rolling Eyes I like to annoy her by mentioning all my gay friends and their romantic lives to her.

I talked about my gay friends as often as I could last week because my MIL hates gay people and thinks I'm going to hell because I hang out with them. You know, with all the other crap going on in the world, I think me having gay friends is the least of God's worries right now.

As for divineblindsoul, your ava is beautiful. Hope to see you around this thread!
