Okay, I'll put it out there, because now I'm a little angry.

CoverMeInGasoline, you have 2 posts to your credit as I write this, and both of them exist only to slur Lyn-Z. You have every right to think what you want, and I realize that you are quite a bit younger than most of the other posters here, but that does not excuse you speaking about Lyn-Z in such a nasty way. You have been asked nicely by me and three other thread regulars to keep the negativity out of our thread. We do not tolerate Gerard-bashing in here, that includes bashing his wife. Be respectful, please. If you post anything else in here that is disrespectful to Lyn-Z, or to anyone else in or involved with anyone in the band, I promise you, it *will* be reported.

Anique, your tattoo is lovely. But I can't tell from the pics: is it on your arm or ankle?

Anyone interested in adding to the book, PM me. I'm going out today and I'll probably pick up some materials. I'm sure I'll be going to a "real" bookstore (you know, one of the ones that sell more than just comics) and I'm sure I'll be in a crafty-style store soon as well.

I agree!!! I probably can't add to the book, as I am 12 and me parents would freak if i got a package from someone i don't know... so i'll just send my good wishes.

Shitty day yesterday. It's wierd how you can be so happy, then something with someone you don't really know but really love as one of your best friends can screw up your day. (if that made any sense at all) Now i'm worrying about him, cause he's so fragile, and he was so upset and wierd yesterday... and i'm ranting. Anyway. I did something i swore i'd never do again. And i did it. And lauri isn't online. Which sucks. And this makes no sense. So i'll post it anyway.

I love you guys. this thread rocks. I wish I could add to the book.

EVEN THE WAYT IS DESERTING ME AND FALLING INTO THE NEGATIVE MCR TALK THING!!! nooo. I liked TBP!!! and I can't wait for the new album!!! Why are you here if you didn't like TBP and are worried you'll hate the new album? God.

Hey Bob. dont worry too much about the negativity - it is upsetting but it will move on to something else pretty soon...... although it will also probably be nasty. That's why we come here ... birds chirp, squirrels dance and MCR is loved. Okay now that didn't make sense! I do hope you find a way to be there for youre friend though!

I am glad for you guys that will get to see the boys again - also very jealous. Damn!

I agree with everyone here - this is a POSITIVE thread - it is also an MCR thread and not a MSI or any other band thread - be respectful or keep quiet about it, we do not bash here. Thanx.

Bob, feel better soon. I'm sorry things aren't going well. Know that you can always come in here for the good stuff. Smile If nothing else, you mentioned that you might be coming to MegaCon with your aunt, you could put something together and give it to me there, and I could put it in the book when I got it back. I'll pretty much be at the Hero Initiative booth the majority of the time -- you can't miss it, it's the 20x20 center booth, probably with several artists and several lines. Skip the lines (tell them Tabitha told you to, nobody will hassle you then) and just look for the chick with the Mary Jane red hair, I'll probably be next to a big bald guy with a big, booming laugh, who'll have a line around the table. And if I'm not there, you can ask anyone there to call me and I will drop what I'm doing and come over to get it, or if I'm chaperoning artists and I can't leave, I'll have them tell you where you can find me. I'm going to be insanely busy, what with our guest list and events and all, but I'll never be too busy to take your stuff and say hi!

Book: I didn't get to go to the "good" side of town, we went out towards Lakeland instead, so I'm going to go tomorrow to get the stuff I need. I've got a shopping list for Hero anyway, so I can pick most of it up at the places I need to go for the things I need for the Con. If you want to add to it, PM me your address. I guess the easiest thing is just to put everyone's addresses on a page inside the book, so when you get it, add what you want then send it on to the next person. The only real cost for anyone (besides me, which is fine, I don't mind) would be the cost of shipping to the next person. Then I'll hold it once it's all done until one of us gets a chance to see the guys play, and see if we can get it to them somehow. Sound like a plan?

I'm just having a hard time dealing with the fact that someone can be so hateful and dishonest. Luckily, the people she sent it to know me well enough to be able to separate the truth from the lies. But reading those words, knowing that it's someone I cared about, that I speak to nicely and professionally every day, that I've bent over backwards to help? It's affected me emotionally and I hate it. And then there's that part of me that's wondering what I could have possibly done to upset her to that extent.

I know I'm a little late to give my shoulder to lean on but here for you, too!!
That person will so be getting a huge-mungous bite in the ASS from Karma for what they've done! And just for that, I'm sending you a BOX of Coffee Crisps!! You deserve it!! I believe that person is just jealous cause you're better at your job and she feels threatened, is delusional and will have a difficult time coming back to the real world! I agree with what some else said a few pages back, this situation will only make you stronger.

And don't forget you have OUR Boys to help you escape!! Think of how much more worse it could be, if you didn't have an ipod filled with My Chemical Romance's Soul strengthening words and music!

My thoughts and prayers and wishes are with you right now!!

^^ That's because they're not singers. You're not supposed to hear their voices on the CD, you're supposed to hear them playing their instruments. Which you can, very much so. As for the rest of that post, I can't make sense of it, so I'm leaving it at that.

Jules, you are too awesome. I did get your PM and will be responding very soon, and know that I am bundling up well wishes and sending them to Canada (eh!) to be with you also. I believe very strongly in Karma, the golden rule, or whatever you want to call it, so I am just carrying on as usual, and took as much advantage of the good in the situation as I could, and I know that you'll come through stronger as well.

Much love to our thread lovelies. *kisses*

My bestest friend gave me the best Valentines Day present ever. Smile She had her friend laser cut me a MCR keyring and love heart ornament with my name on. She also got me a book and a beautiful coat hanger. Sometimes i'm pretty sure I have the bestest friend in all the land. Hehe. I was at her house this morning and she brought me breakfast in bed, Lol... I haven't had that in years!

I agree with the other posters, that this thread is a positive one... and although people are certainly entitled to their negative opinion, i'd prefer if they left it out of here. Although I do feel a little bad for the girl, so *waves* Hello! We are the positive thread! Feel free to post any warm happy fuzzy feelings hun. I hope we can get over this uncomfortable start.

I hope all you lovely ladies are having a nice day. I am grateful for this thread for the smiles it brings me on this site.

OH MY GOD DEB YOUR NEW SIG PWNS ALL.

Bob -- I'm not entirely happy about what led up to the locking of the thread, I think it could have done with a little less vendetta and a little more caring about the subject material. But locked is locked and that's good enough for me.

And while I'm looking at signatures, Jules' is cute also. She's sending me a little bit of Canadian heaven this week. Damn Michael Oeming getting me hooked on those candy bars, and damn Nestle for not marketing them in the US! But hugs and blessings to Jules, who enables my habit. Very Happy (and Michael Oeming is a darling, so don't think I'm talking poorly of him. I love him dearly)

**happy dance**

Bob, I hope things with your friend turn out alright! We're here for you. :]

That's awesome that you got a new job Deb! Here's hoping that it turns out to be a good one and that you don't have any unpleasant coworkers. What line of work is it, if you don't mind my asking?

AHHH the negativity is spreading! I'm glad that this thread exists, where you can just hide from all of it. People should stop complaining about TBP. It was an amazing album, and I think it's really underrated. It's My Chem, so of course the new album will be great.

I agree I think it was an absolutely amazing album. I love every song on there and I may be biased, but I don't think there is one "album track/ filler" song on there... I think they could all have been released as singles. They all sounded different from one another and yet ran together as a story. I think it is one of the best albums every recorded. Mr. Green

I love that it was different from what they had done before, because otherwise people would have said they were stuck in a rut. They got out there, took a chance and created beautiful music, and I for one am 100% positive that the next album will be even better. Me = Fangirl, for eternity, Hehe.

Changing the subject here for a bit: here is one of the pictures that I promised. Ladies and gentlemen, meet Queen Frostine of Candy Land:

Image

And yes, that's me. Bye

The picture is kinda odd because I had to crop it, I can't post pics that have the kids in them. Which is sad, because there were some really lovely ones tonight. I wanted to keep the sweet little girl, maybe 3, in a pink jogging suit with a smile that lit up her entire face. Beautiful.

Who says that all MCR fans dress in black and cut and sulk about how much their life sucks? Throw me some cotton candy and crank up Deathwish.

(edit, for those who don't know, I volunteer at Give Kids The World, the resort for Make-A-Wish kids, where they stay on their Wish trips to Walt Disney World. That's where the photo was taken, and why I can't post photos of the kids.)
