Facism - one person controls everything. just like mussolini's and hitler's reign
Feudalism - hierarchy of lords and vassals. just like in England during middle ages and japan
Capitalism - Free Market System and Free enterprise. Just like in US
Communism and Socialism - everything is communal property and upholds social equality

Which of these do you think would be the best and why?

I think that 'facism' can be ruled out as anyone's favourite lol. Fuedalism sort of worked for a long time, but is dated. Capitalism, bah. Communism will never work, no matter how much everyone wants to be equal, it isn't going to happen.

THUS in my opinion Socialism is the best, and the one that works. I mean, I'm not educated on the matter and have never studied it, I've basically got my views on it from reading a lot of George Orwell. The Labour Party in Britain mainly has elements of socialism within it, it's sort of the stage between Capitalism and Communism, if my memory serves me correct. When money is taken from the people, in the form of TAX or whatever, and put back into the state in the best interests of the mass population. Hence, the free NHS service here in the UK, and the council houses provided to those who can't afford homes of their own. I think there was something to do with free milk or something at one point too hahaha, apparently that helped a lot =P And according to our friends at Wikipedia,

Quote
The objectives of the Party of European Socialists, the socialist bloc in the European Parliament, are "to pursue international aims in respect of the principles on which the European Union is based, namely principles of freedom, equality, solidarity, democracy, respect of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms, and respect for the Rule of Law."

Sounds good to me.

I truely think communism could of worked. I simply beleive that on paper communism is brilliant the idea that all people are equal regardless of class or profession are equal and rather working towards a personal advance you work towards the economic growth and advvance of your nation .

and if you do this your nation will reward you.

unfortunatly communism dosnt really work in practice.
i suppose its because were only human and as perfect as it seems on paper communism could never work as human beings strive for personal gain.

In theory, socialism and communism would be ideal....but the fact that greed and power struggles exist make them inoperable in their purest form.

Capitalism has proven to be the most effective and fair....not because it is ideal, but because it is the only one that takes human nature into account.

If there were some decent politicians out there, an oligarchy might work.

Ya, right!!!

But with capitalism, wouldn't you run into the same problems with human nature? It may not be the government that's corrupt, but there's a possibility that those higher ups in business are corrupt and as a result, workers don't get wages they need/deserve.

I think that both capitalism and communism are good ideas, but in reality you run into the same problems.

Feudalism, I guess, but as it was in Middle Ages... I don't know.
Life should be like in the Middle Ages. Exactly like it was in... DAMN! I don't know what is it in English. Ahhaaaa Byzantine Empire (great job, dictionary)
I like the polity as it was there.

i think that the best way to implement socialism is this:
1)first, use facism. just to control people in a way that struggle for power is not necessity anymore. the leader doesn't have to go hitler or mussolini. I think facism's bad rap is just because of those people who wrongfully used to system
next, use socialism and socialism happens

Many european countries have a more socialist econamic system. While they are mixed with other things, they are mainly socialist.
Even though here in America we like to think we are on top, economically, we are not. Our diviations between the rich and poor actually put us on par with a third world country.

Capitalism has good points about it, but the more socialist governments seem to be the ones making the best changes, and growing as countrys.

capitolism seems to be working pretty well atm
thats probably because money makes the world go round these days .

personal financial gain is what every individual is striving towards
so i dont think communism would go down to well with people these days.
