Anyway, here's the deal (I didn't include the whole email, but this is the basic idea):
OCK email:You have been loyal members for a long time now and we don’t want you to loose your coveted “Vanguard” status. Fall Out Boy wants to take care of all of their diehard fans and members of OCK. Soon we will be putting a “seniority status” kind of thing into effect, but until we do, now is your chance to secure your top spot in OCK.
We’re only offering this extension for a short amount of time.
If you choose not to renew your membership, then you lose you seniority status and will have to start all over again from day one….and who wants to do that!?
What does it mean to gain seniority status in Overcast Kids? Lemme explain:
There will be 3 levels of OCK-dom:
1. Diamond Elite Status – These people have first access to presale tickets and first access to meet and greets before newer members of OCK – in addition to a bunch of other cool firsts.
2. Platinum Elite Status – The next ones in line for access to presale tickets, meet and greets and others.
3. Gold Elite Status – The next ones in line after Diamond Elite and Platinum Elites for access to presale tickets, meet and greets and others. They are the new members of OCK or any OCK that let’s their membership lapse. (The membership that’s basically like starting from scratch)

You have to renew within the next 2 months in order to get "Diamond" status.
Whether your membership is up or not, if you want to get the high status, you have to renew (& pay the $20-whatever).

That sucks about the OCK thing. Much as I hate to say it, I'm kind of not surprised. It's things like this that keep me from joining fanclubs. I'm not aiming this at you guys (I'd never do that <3), just saying I've always been a little skeptical about these things. Besides, fanclubs don't really get many perks here anyway, cos the bands don't do M&Gs or anything really, so there's not much point. When I saw FOB last year all the OCKs didn't get a M&G; I felt really sorry for them.
So that was basically irrelevant too... are you guys going to renew your memberships?
In other news, I finally saw Patrick on Law & Order. He was so damn cute I was biased against the innocent ones.
