Oh, and I just found out, for anybody interested, UL tickets are on sale 9am on the 5th of June.
Haven't seen anything about a presale though.
And I could have posted this in the tours thread, but that'd make it 3 in a row, and I'm already posting here lol

Lol yeah, my original plan was to transfer after one year to B.Comm/B.Law, but by the end of last year I just couldn't be bothered.
But now everything seems so repetitive, and I've talked myself into it again xD
Lmfao, I just find it funny that I've changed soooo much since school ended,
yet I still want to do the same course xD
great! that's a step up. My friend does law at UTS and she makes it sound like there's nothing to do except for moots & reading. =.=
also, you're right- i've also changed so much since high school and deep inside I had wanted to do costume/entertainment design from the very start...instead i wandered off into fashion design for two partly wasted years and in the end i'm back at square one trying to get into my dream course. |

In addition, after going to Falls in Lorne last year, our group (shortly after the festival) were saying that it would be cool to go to the one in Marion Bay this year. My bf and I just decided that we should go xD so WOO. Probably going to Marion Bay Falls this year!!!! =D |

But I dunno anymore. Affording it will be an issue, and she wants to hit all the clubs and stuff and that's just not my scene. Sigh.
Buy yay Tassie, Sez. Much better seeing your own country first anyway. |

I can't remember where I posted about the My Chem show in 05 & how RC have this massive rivalry with the campers,
but I remembered to find my friends blog about it lol.
"This show was better, there were 9 of us who camped out. The security told MCR that we had camped and MCR wanted to know if we had eaten and if we hadn't then they were going to make us peanut butter sandwhiches. It was cool, they were worried about us and wanted to feed us. I felt like an animal."

Age: 33 Gender: Female Posts: 2281 | May 27th, 2008 at 05:11am Seriously. Uni is so much harder than Year 12. At least where Science is concerned.
Year 12 really doesn't mean much in the grand scheme of things. |

I dunno. I'm not heaps fussed about it all to be honest. Mainly because I'm a lazy idiot, haha.
Year 12 isn't the be all and end all of my life. I'm making sure of that. |

im with you though jules, im not letting yr12 rule my life i havent even started my PIP properly because a) i am lazy and b) i hate my topic |

Uni exams are HORRIBLE.
We had one today, and half the questions made NO sense whatsoever.
One of my friends got sick of it, and wrote down all the questions that didn't make sense, and went to see the head of the subject afterwards lol,
and you know what she did? screwed up the paper with the questions, and threw it in the bin.
I thought that was pretty rude "/

And good - year 12, as Rhiannon said, really doesn't matter that much. Though it is good training for the all-nighters you will undoubtedly pull at uni. |

Age: 33 Gender: Female Posts: 2281 | May 27th, 2008 at 06:14am The worst thing about Uni, in subjects like mine where you have 1200 students, lecturers simply can't mark so many papers. So there is a LOT of multiple choice questions. Meaning they use a lot of minuscule information. Stuff that you think would be throw away comments in lectures, but you end up getting assessed on. Second year is a bit better. Less students, so less multiple choice.
And grr at the band on Australia's Got Talent. 3 Stripe something... the bass player is SO copying Scott Owen. What shits me is that he's spending more time on copying the gimmicks (standing on the bass) than playing the instrument. Scott has a lot of respect for his instrument, and puts it first.
If you're gonna copy TLE, at least try to do an admirable job of it. |
