and tasmania got mentioned xD
i swear to god, i have seen some of the most fucked up things in that class.
people getting legs blown off, and chickens getting their heads sawn off and whatnot (obvs on video).
yet somehow i still liked that class "/

But yeah, I see a lot of fucked up things in my Australian Wildlife Biology class. The last few weeks we've been talking about conservation of wildlife and diseases. Some of the diseases are horrific. Like the mange in wombats, and some of the tumors and abscesses looked really horrendous. A lot of them caused by humans. One of which caused by dirty fucking hikers who shit near rivers and don't dig holes. And then the conservation part, hearing what a terrible state out native fauna is in. It's really sad. But like you, Asha, I still love the class. Odd like that. |

My hour class today actually only went for half an hour. We were promised exam hints. The hints were actually stuff like "Read all your notes."
Uhm. Okay. We all obviously are smart enough to get into second year science at Melbourne Uni. We all obviously got an ENTER above 80.05 and all obviously passed first year. Pretty sure we know the basics.
I was thinking more like "Okay, make sure you study the Elapidae cause there's a question on the properties of reptile venom on the exam." Now THAT'S a hint.
I just added up all my scored throughout the semester for Aus Bio. I got 35.5% out of a possibly 40%. So I pretty much just need to get 25% on my exam to pass. Hahahaha. But that's not the exam that worries me. 
Thanks too Asha. And best of luck with your assignments. I shall be jealous of you when, in 4 weeks time, I still have exams and you're all done lol. |

Though we still have a week of uni left! Why are you already done?!?! Maybe you started before us. Did you?
And that's so lame. I hate "hints" like that.
I have an assignment due next Thursday for Media Policy Media Law (40%)
Two tests the week after (Tuesday and Friday) for German (one part's for the lecture, which is worth 30% (and I only got 24% for the mid-semester test =/) and the other is a grammar test worth 25%)
And then a Linguistics essay worth 50%. I hate assignments that are worth lots =(
But at least I'm done before our exam period even starts. That means I can work lots while everyone else has exams/ are studying, and get lots of money, and then not work too much for the rest of the hols and actually HAVE a holiday. That would be nice.
Tonight I'm going to a friend's place (well, acquaintance - he went to school with my bf), and we're all going to play Mario Kart on the Wii. I'm heaps excited. I love Mario Kart, and I haven't played it on Wii yet!! |

I thought we started back a week after everyone? We got one week holidays, though, and from what others told me everywhere else got two? I clearly dunno lol. This next week is SWOT Vac, then we start exams.

And it's worth 40%, but I only need 2/40 to pass the whole unit.
I'm such a nerd when it comes to that subject.
When we all got the essays back the other day, most of the class was whinging about how they only needed one or two more marks and they would have passed, and I was whinging because if I got one more mark, I would have gotten a HD
xD
So glad I have no exams.
Actually I had one on Tuesday, and I'm reasonably sure I failed.
But oh well. At least it's over now.

I actually think we must have two weeks of SWOT Vac, because our exams don't start until... the 21st.
Haha, good work Asha. It's so annoying when you're so close to a HD (or D, or C xD) and they just don't give it to you. My friend's mum is a lecturer, and she says she never gives out like 83's and 84's, which is nice of her! Haha.
