Seriously, gets too long and waffles? 3000 words IS waffling. No one has enough arguments to fill 3000 words. When it gets to that point you start padding it out.
And yeah, the saga got sorted out. And by the time it did get sorted out, I got several emails from my lecturers (most of whom I'd emailed a week ago in an effort to get it sorted out) trying to rememedy the situation. Uh, too late guys.

Chyeah. One more week of 15 hours a day studying and no social life. Lol. Not like I can complain. I'm still seeing Mammal this weekend. |

Age: 31 Gender: Female Posts: 1078 | June 17th, 2008 at 05:50am my society teacher is a douchebag. i dont know how she expects me to hand in like 5000 words of central material (first full draft) in to her by friday or next wednesday if she still has my 3000 words of half done central material that she needs to mark to make sure we're on the right track with things. shes so lazy and then complains about us not asking her for help.
the term waffling annoys me so much lol anything above 2500 words is waffling i think.
two weeks of school til adelaide and holidays. |

awww...*pat*pat* that's a very fitting line for the moment i guess. I used to feel like it's pouring, (not raining) when I'm drenched with assignments. |

Age: 33 Gender: Female Posts: 2281 | June 18th, 2008 at 07:03am Haha. That's basically Uni life. It's like "I only have one assignment, it's not due for 3 weeks, lets go and have fun."
Then, guaranteed, next week of Uni will pile on several assignments all due by the same date and you start regretting not getting that first one out of the way sooner. |

I'm participating in family activities (like washing the dishes, watching tv, and dinner) now that I'm not doing 'homework' all the time. It's crazy. I don't really know what to do, because I've finished and no one else has. I even started cleaning out my cupboard of all this stuff (like, childhood stuff, and bags that I don't want anymore, etc... not clothes, yet), and ah! It's crazy. I'm actually DOING stuff with my time!
EDIT: MSI's If has definitely grown on me. Love it now. /dances round room while cleaning |

Age: 33 Gender: Female Posts: 2281 | June 18th, 2008 at 09:12am It's totally that kind of album, hey! I got to the point I couldn't stop playing it. Still like You'll Rebel To Anything more. But it's still heaps awesome.
Only 6 more days till I'm free too!
It seems like now that I'm studying for Genetics, every news program is talking about Genetics-related things. It's like shut up. I don't need the reminder. |

Age: - Gender: - Posts: 1416 | June 18th, 2008 at 09:23am Oh yeah, I still like that better too, but it's good. Good cleaning music, lol. Actually You'll Rebel to Anything was the album I always listened to when I was working at the library when I first started, so it unfortunately makes me think of it sometimes... but yeah I still like it better.
In retrospect, a white jumper and black trackies probably wasn't the best colour combination to clean up a dusty room.
Yay only six days!! =) |

hey sez, I so get what you mean. I felt like an alien when uni swallowed up my life.
anyways, it's so fun- i'm actually sewing again, making my friend's party dress for her 80's costume party for her 21st. then I can use it to show the interviewers at NIDA when i try out for the design course. hehheee...
and what's that about wiL Francis' new solo project called "William Control"? I'm dying to hear him sing some good songs. |

 Age: - Gender: - Posts: 1416 | June 19th, 2008 at 08:06am I downloaded it. But shh, don't tell anyone. I'm a bad person.
I want to sew! But my room's such a mess now that I can't. Hahaha. Oh man. I have to go through all my drawers and EVERYTHING before I can start actually putting stuff back, because I'm doing a THOROUGH clean of my room. Argh! Whyyyy did I keep a shoebox full of used party poppers!? |

Age: 33 Gender: Female Posts: 2281 | June 19th, 2008 at 09:21am Nawh, I miss sewing. And embroidery especially. I loved that. Gosh, in primary school I loved it so much that I'd take it TO school and do it at recess and lunchtime. And people would stand around and watch me do it. Haha. How lame. Just one of many things I miss that I should one day get back into. Like reading.
Between gigs, Uni and my social life, there is no time for anything.
Speaking of, totally should have tried harder in genetics throughout the semester instead of focusing on my other subjects. I'm so screwed now. |
