^^ Damn I could so go for a waffle right now.
But it would probably taste like shit, coz everything tastes like shit when you're sick D:

Has anyone heard of Tournament of Minds before?
lolz it's this nerdy problem solving competition xD
well anyway, I did it in grade 6 and we got through to the state final, and we were performing our play in like 10 minutes when we got stuck in an elevator.
We were like hyperventilating, and we were in there for 25 minutes. So we kinda delayed the whole thing :/

Sez; Chyeah, totally agree. It's the kind of commitment you wanna deal with later. The way I see it, Uni (or just school in general) is the time for having fun and where you still have the opportunity for long holidays and so forth. The real world can come later. And also cause he wants to buy a house together when we first move in, never wants to rent, so paying off a house isn't something I can exactly do when at Uni. xDDD Tis nice when you can talk about it, though. I hate it if he was a commitment-phobe. It's just lovely knowing that he wants to spend the rest of his life with you.

Asha; How come you're not graduating til 1212? Sad

I'm (hopefully) doing a double degree next year, B. Communications (which is what I'm doing at the moment) & B. Law,
and I counted up all the unit's I'll have to do once I get in, and there was 26, which means 3 more years full time, plus one semester where I'll only have two subjects "/
I guess it's not too bad though, because if I just stayed with this degree, I'd be graduating in 2010 anyway, so an extra year + a bit for a Law degree on top is awesome, when you think of it that way lol.
Just a bit overwhelming when I consider that I'll be 23 when I graduate lol, seems so far away!

Oh right. It must seem forever off. 1212 sounds like it's eons away. But I guess it's only 2 years after me. I'll be 22 as when I graduate due to me adding another year and a half (of two subjects in the half year as well).

I'm so not rushing it though. I love Uni. Not so much the exam-induced stress. But the rest is good.

Yeah, it seems so far away, but at the same time I think it'll be like when I left school- I was looking forward to it for soooo long, and then when it actually came time to leave, I was freaking out and didn't want to xD

But I'm actually really looking forward to starting Law, which makes me sound like a complete nerd.
But idk, I always really liked Legal Studies at school, and I did really well in my Law subject this semester, so it seems like it'll be good... and much less repetitive too.
I was honestly ready to kill somebody at the end of last semester because two of my subjects were EXACTLY the same, and I was just so over it lol.
And mum has been going on about how she thinks I would be a good lawyer for as long as I can remember xD

^^ Hahaha, that's so not nerd like. Law is cool. Science like my course is nerdy. Razz But yeah, you gotta go with what you love. Otherwise the rest of your career will be as boring and monotonous as the subjects you're taking.

Yeah, Law's cool. =P And at least you'll enjoy it and stuff. And as you say, an extra year and a half for a Law degree really isn't that bad.

I won't be graduating until 2011, but that's because I'll be taking a whole year off in 2010 to work and travel and so on, and so I'll be 22.

And Rhiannon, exactly - it's nice to know that they want to spend the rest of their lives with you. Honestly, I've talked about marriage with two other guys; my first boyfriend and I think we actually would've got married (we had it all planned out, down to number of children, and when we were going to be married) (when I was 22, because it was halfway between the ages our mothers got married xD)... but he died. My second boyfrieind... I don't think so. He was a nice guy and stuff, else I wouldn't have dated him for seven months or so, but he'd been going between girls for too long, and being all 'lets get married' with all of them... so yuh. Also we didn't really work so well together =P But I think I could spend the rest of my life with Bart. But then that's a scary thought because I'm only 19, and I'm planning (or trying to) plan so far into my life. I don't know what sort of person I'll be when I'm 22. Nevertheless, it's nice =)

I remember you saying that about your first boyfriend before, I think when it was in the news? That's really sad.

Totally get where you're coming from. It so is scary. I was 18 at the time and trying to find that balance. People say you change so much between 18-22. And it's true. My life is gonna change so much between now and then. I'll graduate, and I'll probably move out with friends at the end of next year, which will be such a massive change. It's like you don't even know what kind of person you're gonna be by then. But as scary as it is, it's nice to have some kind of security as well, knowing he'll be a massive part of your future too.

And yeah, you just know who you can and can't spend eternity with. I had a kinda boyfriend before Cameron [I consider Cam my first real relationship as the other guy moved back to Malaysia after a couple weeks and so it was a loong distance relationship for a few years] and he was totally head over heels in love and wanted marriage, kids, the whole shebang, and he talked about it a LOT... and there I was still trying to work out if I wanted to be with him long term. And yeah, he was a great guy, but you just know when you're meant to be and when it's not the one.

^ wow. That's insane.

^^ Yeah you're right, the security thing is nice. A few years long distance?!? Wow. That's crazy Neutral I couldn't do long distance. I can't even do short distance =P I saw Bart today, and hadn't seen him since last Wednesday, and it's been the longest week of my LIFE. Well, okay, maybe not. But it's been horrible. I guess a lot of it's because we were used to seeing each other every day, and then suddenly just didn't. We both said that the other looked different though =P It was so weird. And also because I haven't had anything to do all week to really distract me from the fact that I wasn't with him.

Also, are you on holidays now?? How was your exam?

Haha, yeah, I'm not good at the distance thing either. Razz I think I was okay with this because I wasn't as emotionally invested as him. He was in love, I was in like. I considered myself more waiting for him to come back to Australia. Off the market per se. But then I got sick of waiting. And sick of being smothered [I know, smothered by someone who lives in a different country - can you imagine how clingy he would have had to of been to make be feel intolerrably smothered? It was so P!nk's Leave Me Alone (I'm Lonely)]. And I just knew in the end I couldn't love him back. With Cameron, total different story. I couldn't handle long distance. Or short distance.

Nawh. That's so cute that you were missing Bart! Like seriously, as much as those moments suck, it's nice too to feel so strongly that you pine his absence. It's always okay when you can distract yourself, but when you can't - torture.

And yesss. Finally on holidays! The exam was a killer. X.x Which is something I did not need, given that it was already a tough subject. You know when the exam seems to consist of only the questions you had hoped weren't gonna be on there? Chyeah, evil.

And Hannah; do you know melbjuz (I think) on Faster Louder? That's my boyfriend's sister in law. I think she's an editor or something? I forget! I just know she has a lot to do with it.
