Kym; The Rhinovirus: I'm just hoping it's not going to be another American Idiot.
I don't want to seem like one of those fans that are all bitter towards AI and rag on it constantly...
But, I'm not a huge fan of that album at all. It's a really brilliant record, just, it's too over-the-top.
I hope their next CD has a little more.. insomniac or Nimrod sound. =)

"Right now we're doing a lot of demos and just writing. We need the moments of inspiration that we have for any particular style. We're in a like, 'Let's have a good time and see what comes out of it' process. There's plenty of time to stress out about it.
There's an idea that we've been toying with - of doing something that has more of a story behind it. Then there's this stuff that we're doing that's some of the strangest sounds we've ever heard. It's kind of like The Clash's Sandinsta on acid or something. And then there's something that's just straight up punk songs that's flying around too. We're working on three different albums - with a total of 30 songs, so we're just going to catalogue and see what end's up happening.
I really want to take my time, as I want to see how my life and surrounding unfold. Because I just think that the best things to sing about are going to end up coming from that and then just create distance between 'American Idiot' and whatever we might put out next. I think it's a good idea"
