| Plug in Baby. Salute You in Your Grave Age: 29 Gender: Female Posts: 3606 | I think they should at least be nice to us, who bravely gather on a message board made to honor the members of MCR, and spread the word Them Horrorz, I mean, its like being Jewish in Natzi Germany! Just kidding. But seriously, we deserve a little somethin' somethin' to tie us over. Shadazz doesn't count. They said not to expect that as the new sound /: Little punks....>_< BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH Is she really getting divorced already?! Oh goodie! Now we just hope she doesn't clue in on poor Faz again. |
| art star. Demolition Lover Age: 29 Gender: Female Posts: 19017 | Can they at least give a hint of a new single? XD When that single comes, I want to be the first one to hear it. XD Oh. She's getting divorced. Probably looking for another heart to break. |

| art star. Demolition Lover Age: 29 Gender: Female Posts: 19017 | ^^^ She's better off that way. Married. So she'll leave Faris alone. Haha. |
| lanee. In The Murder Scene Age: 31 Gender: Female Posts: 21448 | I don't think (or rather, hope) that Faris wouldn't be thickheaded enough to go back out with Peaches after what happened and all. D: |
| art star. Demolition Lover Age: 29 Gender: Female Posts: 19017 | ^^^ Well, yeah. But I don't think Peaches would do the same. |
| HeyHambert Jazz Hands Age: 30 Gender: Female Posts: 363 | Damn...I haven't posted since pg 49... I missed this place but since my dad has become a house husband I never get to come on. Well just wanted to hi to everyone and I'll probably be back in another 50 pages or so! Lol Bye! |
| lanee. In The Murder Scene Age: 31 Gender: Female Posts: 21448 | Aw, I hope you're back before another fifty pages! D: |
| wind opaine. Patron Saint of Switchblade Fights Age: 31 Gender: Female Posts: 66328 | Not to mention Shadazz isn't one of their own songs, it's a cover. Though, I wouldn't mind if the vocals on that song stick for the new cd.... EGAD, I'm hoping Faris isn't that dumb to possibly go at it for a second time. But he was dumb enough to do it the first time, so you never know. Hopefully she'll stay right where she is. Hai Amber. Damn, has it really been that long? |
| lanee. In The Murder Scene Age: 31 Gender: Female Posts: 21448 | There's got to be a single coming soon. ): For some odd reason, I see Faris with Tahita from New Young Pony Club. xD Don't ask why, because I don't even know why. |
| wind opaine. Patron Saint of Switchblade Fights Age: 31 Gender: Female Posts: 66328 | There might be, will never know until they SAY SOMETHING. kjsdhfljsdhflsd xD Actually, I can too, I think it's cute. I remember once there was this video on youtube, I can't find it anymore, but it was Faris and Tahita standing with each other and talking, and it made me happy, because I really love both of them. <3 ![]() Lulz, just ignore Beth, ain't it cute? |
| wind opaine. Patron Saint of Switchblade Fights Age: 31 Gender: Female Posts: 66328 | REALLY NEW INTERVIEW WITH FARIS! 1) Did studying at CSM have any influence on your decision to start a band? No. I didn't meet anyone in college that I would have wanted to start a band with. 2) What inspires you most with your art? I'm just documenting things happening around me. I tend not to go to galleries. I read a lot and phrases I particularly like can end up in my sketchbooks and from there spring drawing ideas. Books about human behavioural patterns, psychology.. Music obviously, photographs. 3) What did you aspire to do after graduating before The Horrors came along? Like most I didn't really have any idea. There's something both admirable and hugely depressing about the people who have their futures planned out by 20 years old. 4) Did you finish your course? If not, would you consider returning to finish your degree? 5) Did you enjoy your time at CSM? Are you still in contact with people from your course/halls? I had two years left. I enjoyed it but there's no point going back now - I'd sooner take life-drawing classes or similar, independently. Didn't really identify with more than a few people there and the situation if I were to return would only be worse I think. From college maybe three people I am still in contact with, from halls only two. 6) What was the most memorable part of your CSM experience? I guess some of the projects people used to try and pass off as art, myself included. I remember I once forgot to do a project and hastily printed off a random internet page of text, turned it sideways and framed it. Argued with the tutor for 45 mins about the relevance of my "piece". Further exacerbated the situation by drawing a very unflattering caricature of her and leaving it on the desk when I left. 7) Are you glad you swapped studying for music? Any regrets? I do just as much artwork now as I did when I was at college. *Standard Horrors-related questions* It's all recorded, we are now mixing it ourselves and will have it out by March '09. An EP before then. 9) Any hints on what we can expect from the new sound? Technical competence! How enticing is that? 10) What do you like most about being in a band? The long periods of time spent waiting around, low income, no job security.. Most of all the fact I can get people I've never met to send birthday cards to my younger brothers. 11) What kind of stuff have you been up to during your break in between albums? Growing heather, watching the snakes in the reptile shop, collecting Golliwogs. Tattooing myself, learning to make rings. 12) What's your favourite thing about playing live? You tour until you're sick of playing and yearn for the recording studio, then you record until you're sick of the studio and yearn to go on tour. Right now we've been recording for so long everything about playing live seems appealing. 13) How do you want The Horrors to be remembered in history? Consistently. |
| Flick Really Not Okay Age: 30 Gender: Female Posts: 616 | I love the part where he brags about getting people to send stuff to his baby brother, and the arguing with his teacher one, so very, very Faris. I just love that tall awkward bird man *squish* Also, the answer to question four seems to be missing. That being said March? *sniff* m..arch... |
| wind opaine. Patron Saint of Switchblade Fights Age: 31 Gender: Female Posts: 66328 | Hahaha, I read that answer and I was like, "Jeez, Horrorstock, good times." I loved the school bit. It amused me to no end. Maybe he skipped it? This interview was done over e-mail. That's not too bad. Like, three full months... :/ |
| lanee. In The Murder Scene Age: 31 Gender: Female Posts: 21448 | Aw, the card part is seriously sweet. That picture's insanely cute. But, you know who I also picture being very cute with Faris? Psh, Kyle Falconer. You know in the tour video how they're in a corner talking, and then when they finish Faris stands up and leans in and hugs Kyle. You can tell it's totally a tearful goodbye. |
| wind opaine. Patron Saint of Switchblade Fights Age: 31 Gender: Female Posts: 66328 | So, I had no idea what Golliwogs were, and I asked, because I wanted to know what it was that he was collecting, and these are what they are, Golliwogs. Needless to say, I am so amused. I kind of really want one for my stuffed animal collection. They're kind of cute. The idea of Faris collecting any stuffed item makes me all happy. <3 Oh jeez, you would. I'm sure it was heartbreaking for them to have to say goodbye. |
| lanee. In The Murder Scene Age: 31 Gender: Female Posts: 21448 | The idea of Faris collecting Golliwogs doesn't surprise me at all. xD Mainly 'cause it's Faris, and that needs to explanation. Oh of course it was, I'm pretty sure I watched an interview with The View and they said they really missed The Horrors from the NME tour. IT IS SO MEANT TO BE. |
| wind opaine. Patron Saint of Switchblade Fights Age: 31 Gender: Female Posts: 66328 | Well, it doesn't surprise me much either, because he is a ~freak~ like that, but I do find it funny, and oddly cute. AWH~!<3 |
