Very well said, Jules!
And about baby pictures: I want to see the baby too, as long as Gerard and LynZ are OK with it. I don't want any pictures to be spread against their will. |

I meant if they decide to allow pictures of the baby. Like in a magazine shoot or something. Hopefully it's a when the baby is a few months old. Newborns tend to look alike, lol. |

I prefer to think that some of the stuff being thrown around is only being voiced because the people saying it are still in their early/mid-teens, and therefore are (I'm sorry, but let's be honest) immature and truly naive about adult relationships, especially when it comes to parenting.
(No, babysitting a lot does not constitute parenting experience.)
I just think that if these kids were just a few years older and had some more life experience, they would understand that even their heroes grow, change and live their own lives despite what their fans want/fantasise about. A person can make a world of mistakes when they're young and stupid, but those mistakes shouldn't (and usually don't) follow them into true adulthood (that is, not the part where they're legal, but the part where they truly let go of their childhood and settle down). The length of a relationship has little bearing on the quality of a relationship - a friend of mine was with her partner for 6 years and had a child together, then got married and before their first wedding anniversary, they were separated (they can't get divorced for a certain amount of time, but it looks like they will be going ahead with it). Then there's my husband and I - I left my boyfriend for him, a month later I was pregnant, we got married after being together for six months and now we're staring down the barrel of our second wedding anniversary and we have never been happier. Sure, we may or may not be together for 50 years, nobody can predict that, but who is anybody to judge a couple they don't know?
As Deb and Jules said, Gerard and Lindsey are doing this: they're having a family and they're going to do it the way they want, regardless of the naysayers. They will go through the trials and tribulations of becoming parents, and they will either survive it or their relationship will crumble. The same goes for absolutely everybody, and it's nobody's place to judge people you don't even know. |

Age: - Gender: Female Posts: 14066 | December 5th, 2008 at 12:23pm I am so sick of the fangirls who keep writing awful comments about Lindsey and the baby, just because they're jealous! Why can't they just be happy for them? These are the same people who were posting hate comments when they got married, though now it's much worse. When they were married, some teenies were all sad and jealous and in denial, but now they have to accept it. They have to acknowledge it now, they have to grow up. When Gerard and Lindsey first got married, the unsupportive fangirls were mad, but they held hope that they would break up. Now, they are even more pissed, knowing there is nothing they can do about it. It's a baby. A living, breathing reminder that Gerard and Lindsey are in LOVE!!!
I'm sorry for the rant, but I just saw some more hate messages, and it made me want to scream at how selfish some people are.

Ughhhhh! See this is why I avoid buzznet and LJ like the plague. Our site catches a lot of shit, but that's because a lot of people fail to realize that the majority of us have sense - I've been trying to enlighten them. |

Some people say I have a weird name, but I think it's nice. So I think a unique name would be quite nice.
Aw, that interview with Frank was sweet. Teehee, that would be cool, all the mcr kids playing on the tourbus together. XD |

Age: 31 Gender: Female Posts: 12900 | December 6th, 2008 at 02:57pm I really hope they do a normal name and not something silly like Bronx Mowgli (no offense). Normal doesn't have to be boring either. There are perfectly acceptable names that are uncommon and elegant,
Like what I'm naming my daughters: Rose Felicia and Grace Marcheline. |

Age: 43 Gender: Female Posts: 1831 | December 7th, 2008 at 12:03pm So I'm officially pissed about the baby. MIL makes her bi-weekly call and says to me, "That singer guy you like is having a kid. His mom gets to be a grandmother. Isn't he your age? He's your age and he's having a baby. You should have one too." Yeah, lady, let me put my life on hold and go have a baby because my favorite singer's wife is pregnant. Hubs & I'll get right on that.
Thanks G and Lyn. You got MIL on my ass about grandbabies *again*. |
