I mean, I know that he won't do it around his wife while she's pregnant, or around the baby when it's born, but he'll be better off just quitting, rather than always having to leave the room to smoke all the time. Not only that, it will be better for his health. |

Neither one will probubly have to smoke outside. I mean, maybe they'll both quit but I doubt it.
Gerard does love his ciggerates.
Hopfully he'll change himself for his baby. But, who knows.
I doubt he's gonna put himself out in the cold to smoke though.
^ I remembered. They're in CA.
Well, that changes everything.

Age: 35 Gender: Female Posts: 1725 | December 11th, 2008 at 10:26pm Deb: I had a way tougher time being pregnant in the summer than in the winter. The hormones keep you schvitzing.
You're not wrong... especially in the last few months, it suuuccckkkks. I was lucky with Emily, she was born in mid-August (ie just before Spring in Australia) but I'm having trouble with this one already because the heat is disgusting and while I'm only 17 weeks, I feel like I'm dying. My tolerance to hot weather during pregnancy goes from 'almost nil' to 'TURN THE FRICKIN' AIR CONDITIONER ON ALREADY!'
And if Gerard and Lindsey's little one is due 'early summer', it will absolutely kill her in the last few weeks if it gets very warm at the end of spring wherever they are. I feel for her already!
As to the bingo thing, well hey - I just wish I had more open-minded friends and family who were willing to forgo getting wasted at nightclubs until 5am every weekend in order to have some good, clean, sober fun with me... even when I'm not pregnant, it sucks trying to go out when you have kids (although somehow all my other friends manage? and then complain that they're broke all the time because they blew all their money on vodka), so even if I can drink, I just don't want to. It's not fair, I seriously only have like two friends that still talk to me (everybody else just went 'pfft they're sooo boring and lame now') and even then they're still trying to convince me to go out with them on weekends rather than just having a BBQ at home over a drink or two so the kids can be around.
And really, guys... smoking isn't that big of a deal. Smoking outdoors is such a minor adjustment when you have a kid, you barely even notice it, especially when you're getting woken up every three hours and trying to figure out why the damn thing is crying *again*. And what's throwing on an extra jacket to step outside for five minutes in the winter? I've always managed just fine.
Stop stressing, though. If they want to continue smoking, they will, and it's none of your beeswax. I smoke around my kid all the time and she's fine (not indoors or in the car, obviously, but if we're outside hanging laundry I don't care because the smoke blows up and away from her). |

You DONT have to be so mean about it. Pete/Ashlee's middle name is acctually tribute to one of Pete's favorite things. Its what inspired From Under the Cork Tree.
Why does everyone have to be such a b*tch about their kids name. When you have kids, do YOU want people making fun of them?

Age: 35 Gender: Female Posts: 1725 | December 12th, 2008 at 08:40pm Michael James Way;:When you have kids, do YOU want people making fun of them? No, which is why I used my brain and gave my daughter a normal, easy to spell, easy to understand name. Trust me, I still despise my parents for cursing me with a hyphenated first name, I got mean nicknames and made fun of even AFTER I finished high school.
And, I hate my father for having the misfortune to have a really hard to spell and pronounce surname, and getting married was the best day of my life because my husband's name is Anglicized, easy to spell, simple to pronounce, and you never have to repeat it three times to people.
Then again, these people are celebrities, so I guess they can get away with it, but again, how long will their fame last? They won't always be able to go around saying, 'But my mom's a pop star and my dad plays bass for FOB' - one day they'll just be regular old mom and dad and poor Bronx (and countless others) will just be regular old kids on the playground. With ridiculous names.
I get the notion of taking a name from something that means something important to the parents, but seriously, why not just get a dog and name it something out there, rather than inflicting it on your kid?
Anyway, I couldn't really care less what Gerard and Lindsey name their baby. As long as it's not Talula does the Hula from Hawaii (yes, some moron DID in fact name their daughter that). |

Because calling people bitches isn't mean either.
If you're going to name your kids something weird and whatnot, people are going to think it's stupid and make fun of the child. If you name your kid a weird name and they get made fun of for it, it's the parents' own fault because they can't name them something at least remotely normal. |
