Friends don't do that. Ever. That's possibly one of the most horrible things someone has done to me.

how's it been? we haven't talked in a while, but that is probably because you don't return my letters or text messages. i know, i know. you can get busy sometimes, with shane, work and school. but honestly, you must have had at least 5 minutes in the two years you haven't contacted me in, to write a reply to my letter. one paragraph would be sufficient. you don't even have to sign it, your initials would suit me fine - anything to let me know that you still think of me as a friend, not just that "girl who moved states". best friends means something, you know. it isn't a word to just throw around. when you presented me with a best friend necklace on my 13th birthday, i was estatic, happy beyond belief. i still wear it, you know.
please write back.

You mean so much to me. Even though we are together I'll always value our friendship more than anything in the world. You've helped me through so much, I can't even begin to say why or even how. I remember this time last year. Just sitting up the park in the sun listening to In This Moment and just talking to each other about everything. I'm so glad you were there for me, I would have not been able to cope. But just knowing you were a text, phone call, email away any time, any place, made me feel comforted. I know then we didn't feel like the way we do to each other now, but even as best friends we were so close. We didn't get awkward when the other held on a little big longer when hugging, or when we used to lie on each other staring at the nice blue sky above us.
You mean the whole world to me and you've made me so happy. I know sometimes I can be a right downer on moods and stuff, but I try my best. But the best thing is knowing that you don't care, the fact you're just there for me no matter how big or small the thing I'm freaking out about is. You just love me for who I am and that's incredible. I love you for everything you are, you're the most sweetest, caring, thoughtful and nicest people I've ever met.
I'll do my best to make you feel the way you make me feel.
