I think your silence has said more than you've ever said before. I thought you were someone I could rely on, and someone I could trust. It seems that I was wrong.
I'm not sure if you are doing this to spite me, or teach me a lesson so I can really feel incredible pain so you receive some sort of satisfaction. Usually, I'd guess that you weren't doing that, because you're not that kind of person. But if I'm honest, I think it's wrong that your last sentence before leaving me was "We can still be best friends". If this is how best friends treat eachother, then I'll be distancing myself from any human contact until I die. If I'm honest, though, I understand why you'd want me to feel like crap and maybe learn a lesson or two along the way. If it's the penalty that I have to pay, then I'll just slowly but surely suck it up and deal with it.
If you do happen to contact me again and say that you really ARE sad, I will laugh on your face. Why? Because if you were THAT sad, you'd probably be doing the same goddamn thing that I'm doing: nothing. You kept bleating on about how, when we split up the first time [due to your lies and immaturity, may I add], you couldn't muster up the courage to eat or even get out of bed.
Keeping in contact after this break up, though, has made me realise that you seem fine enough without me to go out and do your thing. So congratulations: I think you've established that as much as I need you, it is you who can function perfectly well without me.
Don't bother emailing me back. This non-interest is about to become mutual.
