Gotta call off work because we're under hurricane watch and the buses are suspended until further notice. I'm anticipating quite a lot of bitching from my manager. She can say whatever she wants, though. I can't go. I have no way of getting there. Probably won't be able to go tomorrow either since the storm is supposed to get worse. |

Posts: 12902 | October 29th, 2012 at 06:57am Yeppp, Hurricane Sandy. I can't say I'm all that worried about it. They tend to exaggerate these things. Last year it was Hurricane Irene, which didn't do much to my area. I didn't even lose electricity. And I remember there was a Hurricane Isabella people kept hyping when I was in middle school, nothing but rain and wind. Then again, everyone's like "no, I have a feeling this is gonna be bad," and blah blah blah so who knows.
I'm hoping she'll understand, but knowing her she'll complain about how we're not supposed to call out "last minute to time", etc. I understand, but it can't be helped. Didn't know they were gonna shut buses down.
We SHOULD be closed anyway. All the schools in the area, government jobs, etc., are all down. But us? Noooo. Watch them lose electricity later in the day anyhow, lol.
But yeah, that's enough about me. How are you doing? |
