Maybe if you focus on what the end result will do for you, maybe that will help keep you motivated. and remember you can always talk to me if you need to |
vacant alleyWAYS Salute You in Your Grave ![]() Age: - Gender: - Posts: 2991 | omgsh, it's been a month since ANYBODY posted here! haha well, then it's been OVER a month since I've done anything. oh dear! Ok, well I did a few cardio sessions, but sooo not like the 30day shred. Now, with company on the way, I fear I won't get back into it for aNOTHER month, or at least 2-3weeks. Ahhh, but I'll try to do SOMETHING. *me needs to stay active!* ![]() Hope the rest of you are still working towards your goals! Best! |

vacant alleyWAYS Salute You in Your Grave ![]() Age: - Gender: - Posts: 2991 | tonight I broke a milestone. It may be nothing for many, but it may be really awesome for others. Tonight I ran/jogged 4mph for 2minutes straight COMFORTABLY and then continued for another...20plus minutes on and off. This is huge for me, considering I could barely walk .7 mph for 7minutes like 7 years ago. Woah, 777! (OH! DUE TO INJURY andgoing from althelete to coach potato the year before. THIS IS WHY FITNESS IS SO IMPORTANT) Anyway, like I feel great, and to illustrate the pace, and my soundtrack for the evening, I will share...this one song goodbye tonight lost prophets |
vacant alleyWAYS Salute You in Your Grave ![]() Age: - Gender: - Posts: 2991 | Few nights back, I got "runners high" \m/ Yeah, I was skipping circles on the treadmill too. What a rush! Felt release after some sortof painful nights. (Idk, sometimes my body like burns internally or has this scratchy painful feeling, but the endorphin rush fixes it up! ![]() But yeah so it had been like a month since I properly worked out...oh yes, because I started up the 30day shred again after maybe 2 or 3 months? But that was a week ago already haha yeah I am so lazy! But I am also so hungry and I was struggling to be inspired to cook for awhile there. anyhoo! |
beaker; Ghostbuster Famous ![]() Age: - Gender: - Posts: 71107 | Bringing this thread back for those of us trying to be accountable and make 2022 our year. I was planning on eggs for dinner tonight, mostly because they expire in a week. But today I'm just in a mood. So I think I'll get some crispy freezer chicken. Healthy? Debatable. But the same could be said about eggs depending on who you ask. And I can weigh/measure my serving. Also it rained all day, a cold rain, so I didn't feel like going out for my was today. But on each of my breaks I did push ups, jumping jacks, and a kettle bell set. Nothing I don't normally do, but for some reason exhausted me today. Idk what's up with me today. |
stay away; In a Bullet's Embrace ![]() Age: 29 Gender: - Posts: 55069 | Yay for staying accountable and making 2022 our year! I started ww yesterday but because I started after breakfast I kind of had an awful breakfast and so a weird day to log overall. but then today i started on the right foot and i think i'm going for good this time. oatmeal for breakfast and a frozen pasta & chicken little tray for lunch, and coffee, obviously. I add milk but if i don't have my coffee then i do not exist, if you're a coffee person, you know. So it is just past 2pm and I have not made it to half of my allotted 'points' for the day, I'm not complaining though, if i can stay full then I am happy to not over do it. Also for some reason I see junk in my freezer and i'm like, oh fuck i better eat that right away...which like??? doesn't make sense. but basically i want to eat my last remaining two pizza pops for dinner. Which is still within my goals but I just don't want to have the mindset that I have to eat the junk food in my house before i eat things like brown rice. I still lost 0.8lbs since yesterday, which is probably because the junk i ate yesterday was for breakfast and not later in the day, but i'm not complaining. only like a million more to go D; |
beaker; Ghostbuster Famous ![]() Age: - Gender: - Posts: 71107 | In the spirit of being accountable, yesterday wasn't a great day. Not as bad as days I've had in the past, but still could have been better. Mostly because I had cake and chocolate for dessert. But today I'll be able to go out to walk like I normally do, so hopefully that'll put me back in the mindset I need to be in. Plus, the chicken I thawed is ready to cook, so I won't end up having an unhealthy dinner. |
stay away; In a Bullet's Embrace ![]() Age: 29 Gender: - Posts: 55069 | my weight went down another 2.2lbs for a total loss of 3lbs since startin ww. I did have pizza pops for dinner, and everything was still okay. I can focus on trying to make healthier decisions but for now I am happy with how yesterday went. Today I think will go better, I slept in so I haven't had breakfast yet but I will make that soon. I'm feeling so positive about this change, and excited. which i'm happy about! |
beaker; Ghostbuster Famous ![]() Age: - Gender: - Posts: 71107 | I've been holding pretty steady these past few days. not where I want to be, but better than outright gaining I guess. My plan is to really buckle down on Friday. Starting Friday, I'm giving myself a definitive 30 days. not a goal to reach a specific weight, but just a goal to stick to good habits for 30 days. then it ends on valentines day and I can binge on chocolate |
stay away; In a Bullet's Embrace ![]() Age: 29 Gender: - Posts: 55069 | i went out for dinner last night and binged hard i gained 1.2lbs from yesterday morning i'm getting back on track today but just annoyed with myself. |
beaker; Ghostbuster Famous ![]() Age: - Gender: - Posts: 71107 | Here's to hoping most of that is just excess water |
beaker; Ghostbuster Famous ![]() Age: - Gender: - Posts: 71107 | today was finally bettter not where I wanted to be initially, but still within my calorie range for the day. I feel like it's been forever since I've done this well now to do it again |
stay away; In a Bullet's Embrace ![]() Age: 29 Gender: - Posts: 55069 | great job becca! i'm glad you're doing well! as for myself i've been back in good form, sticking to my ww points perfectly. I'm down from when i weighed back in after my slip up too, and hopefully tomorrow i'll be down even more. feeling so positive and optimistic. my goal weight for the end of January is 6.0lbs away, and I really feel like I can do it. |
beaker; Ghostbuster Famous ![]() Age: - Gender: - Posts: 71107 | that's good! it just goes to show that 1 bad day doesn't have to throw you off track. yesterday really was good, because I was down 2lbs when weighing myself 24 hours apart. and I stayed on track today too, and even went for a run on one of my breaks today. I kind of am "planning" for tomorrow to be a little not so good. (mostly I just don't plan on counting calories tomorrow) but that was always the plan for tomorrow to be that "last" day, if you will. but that's why I'm glad I had two good days leading into it. and hopefully I'll be mountain biking tomorrow, so I'll still get some exercise in anyway |
stay away; In a Bullet's Embrace ![]() Age: 29 Gender: - Posts: 55069 | i've been having more good days with my eating and weight loss. I've stuck to my ww points perfectly and i am now down 4.2lbs in the past week. This morning marks my first week on ww completed. I am also now only 4.4lbs away from my goal for the end of January!! I can do it! |
beaker; Ghostbuster Famous ![]() Age: - Gender: - Posts: 71107 | congrats beth! I have faith in you! |
stay away; In a Bullet's Embrace ![]() Age: 29 Gender: - Posts: 55069 | thanks so much becca!! I had another good day yesterday and then when I weighed myself this morning I have lost another 0.8lbs, which means I only have 3.6lbs left to reach my goal for the end of January! |
beaker; Ghostbuster Famous ![]() Age: - Gender: - Posts: 71107 | Okay, I didn't do well at all this weekend. Like, Friday was allowed, but somehow I convinced myself Saturday, Sunday and Monday were too. So, my 14th to the 14th plan is messed up, but I guess now it'll just be 18th to the 14th. Again, I have no specific goal weight to reach by then, though I'm hoping to be down to what I was before christmas by then. But I just want to be able to say I went 30 days (well, 27) in a row making the right choices with my diet. |
beaker; Ghostbuster Famous ![]() Age: - Gender: - Posts: 71107 | I want to overeat so bad. And it sucks because when I take the time to think about what exactly I want to eat to "feel better" nothing specific comes to mind. So I know that overeating would solve nothing, but idk how to make this feeling go away. |
