Im from Ukiah, where AFI is from, and my step-brother and step-sister went to highschool with AFI. Adam was his roommate for a long time, and Jon (brother) was actually going to be in the band...but sucked at playing anything...so he is just their groupie. Jon now lives with their manager in san francisco...and hangs out with them all the time, like its no big deal.Sadly, I fell out of my AFI stage..and I don't talk to Jon very often..he's kind of pretentious. Maybe I would be too if i was friends with AFI. And..heres a tid bit for you guys: The name AFI originally stood for "A Bunch of Fucking Idiots". Its funny...in Ukiah everyone and their mother likes AFI...only because they feel the need to represent. They are so protective of them...it's funny. oh yeah: I also have their junior year yearbook...with this old article on their band... you could tell no one cared about them, which is funny. Maybe I'll scan it for you guys...I feel a bit guilty for stealing Jon's yearbook...He'll never know...
