I want to buy I Heard A Voice, but I want to buy some Vans also.
So I'm buying the Vans, and then I have like £5 left, then I shall save up about £7 and I can [finally] buy the DVD. =D

My friend and I watched it twice in a row(I've seen it four times), and the 2nd time around, we would point out all the funny poses and noises Davey (and sometimes Jade) made. 'Twas quite entertaining. |

Im from Ukiah, where AFI is from, and my step-brother and step-sister went to highschool with AFI. Adam was his roommate for a long time, and Jon (brother) was actually going to be in the band...but sucked at playing anything...so he is just their groupie. Jon now lives with their manager in san francisco...and hangs out with them all the time, like its no big deal.Sadly, I fell out of my AFI stage..and I don't talk to Jon very often..he's kind of pretentious. Maybe I would be too if i was friends with AFI. And..heres a tid bit for you guys:
The name AFI originally stood for "A Bunch of Fucking Idiots".
Its funny...in Ukiah everyone and their mother likes AFI...only because they feel the need to represent. They are so protective of them...it's funny.
oh yeah: I also have their junior year yearbook...with this old article on their band...
you could tell no one cared about them, which is funny. Maybe I'll scan it for you guys...I feel a bit guilty for stealing Jon's yearbook...He'll never know...  Wow. That's pretty cool. I've been to Ukiah once, but only passing through.
Ooh, yearbook pics? Ah, well, siblings aren't supposed to be perfect.
I think it's pretty cool to have bands that are near. I rather enjoy it. |

Im actually in Ukiah right now, visiting my dad. Theres this really cute candid shot of davey..looking all young and punkish. I'll totally scan as much as I can when I get back to civilization on friday! Jon told me this one story..he was at this party with the band, and this was when davey had JUST started dressing... "feminine". Jon's girlfriend at the time, Annie, had been helping Davey out with hair and makeup tips, and they happened to have the same haircut...
So, Jon sat down on the couch and gave Annie a big kiss...
but it was Davey. 
I think they're in jon's gentlemen's club he made up..called "the benevolent order of the fist". So, basically, they are all huge geeks. FYI...ehehe.

The impression I got was that it was on the mouth...because it was a pretty big deal. And yeah, he used to be pretty normal. He was probably at the house when I was a kid..and I didnt even see him...im lame.ahahha... |
