This is one that is a lot clearer about the attacks.
This disgusts me. There should be more police on patrol, everybody should feel safe going out.
People can be killed from this kind of stuff. Who do they think they are?
I think that this shows just how much our society is broken.
And how badly some teenagers can react.
This is completely ridiculous and unacceptable.
I'm not sure if this needs it's own thread tbh though....
And may I add that I feel sick right now? Just because of this I feel physically sick.

I am completely against violence and the unjust judgement of others, and I just really don't understand the fuel for the anti-emo movement. The people who are among the movement are really ignorant pigs who just can't accept someone for who they are and who they want to be. I feel so sad and sorry for the emos being attacked. |

Secondly, it just makes me so made that this happened, is still happening. Why would they go around and beat up people that they don't know or understand? It disgusting. People are getting way to extreme with this 'emo' stuff. Its just hair and clothes, its just how the person looks, I don't get why they would do that. The fact that they have to result to VIOLENCE over something so petty.... they are so ignorant for doing that. How many people do you think they hurt just because of a stupid ignorant thought, or opinion.... makes me sick. |

As long as it is not hurting anybody, one should be able to live their life the way they want, weather that be emo or anything else. Also, depression is a serious problem. Having suicidal thoughts is not something to be hated for. No matter how much people punch,kick,spit,yell,die,cry,cutt,w/e, emos/stereotypes will exist. It's going to happen and even if you're against something, someone out there will disagree. People who even care about emos disgust me.
I'm not emo but i have emo friends and it's hilarious cause people will always be like
'are you emo?' but no one goes up to our school bully asking 'are you a chav?'. I find it sick and disturbing and it will never stop until humans are extinct which kicks me in the ass even more. |

People shouldn't be beat up because of the way they dress or what "label" you put them under.
In England they recently arrested some boys who attacked a young couple because of the way they dressed. The couple walked through a park on their way home, a group of boys started beating up the girl's boyfriend. When the girl begged them not to hut her boyfriend, they started beating her up. A 14 year old girl found them unconscious. The girl later died in the hospital. Her boyfriend when interviewed by the news said that he wished she had ran away and left him to die.
The people who attack others because of the way they dress are so very cruel. I don't see how they could do that to people. |

I think so, if nothing else so this gets to MCR's attention faster. This is something they should comment on since they've always spoke out publicly against violence of all sorts, especially hate-crimes.
What I find disgusting is all the Americans who are like "the war against emos is on," or "too bad this hasn't spread up north." I mean, the sorta things said against emos sound like the sort of things said by neo-nazis or the KKK against Jews and people of color.
What can I say, people are intolerant. |
