You can call me Jen, if you wish. I live in Colorado, am a high school senior, a band geek, and a choir kid. My greatest aspiration in life, much to my mother's dismay, is to design and ink tattoos, and see my art on display somewhere other than the halls of the elementary school. Sadly, I have not always had the appreciation for life I currently possess, and it's been a long struggle to climb out of the hole of depression, guilt, and self-doubt I used to call home. Thankfully, I heard of a band called My Chemical Romance, and I'm glad to say it's mainly due to their music and an excellent counselor that I'm still here and able to type this. The first time I heard Helena I had a blade buried in my wrist. Since then I've decided perhaps life really is worth living, no matter how hopeless it seems sometimes.
